A very dumb 18 year old me did 140+ in a very fast but absolute deathtrap supercharged b-series swapped crx(empty 5 freeway at 2am in middle of nowhere). Thank god I got into trackdays and sanctioned drag racing shortly after. Probably would have killed myself or some unlucky driver.

Very nice. Keeps some of the core VW design language(read:bauhaus inspired heavy surfaces), while actually looking nice and fresh. Rear 3/4 is working very well for me(very subtle kamm tail and nicely segment ed surfaces). Even though its a similar proportion to the i3, its much better refined IMO.

Ah okay. Always wanted to make it out for that. Maybe next year.

Oh yea. Monterey historics garages?

I vote Evo 8/9 also. Owned two of them..both very reliable(one had almost 5k track miles on it) and loads of fun. That being said, they are more complicated than your average car, and bigger jobs like the clutch should be done by a specialist(or if your handy and have good tools...).

Yup. Its from may of last year. They had already begun taking it down but probably 75% remained then.

Yeah. Sbarro had some super batshit crazy designs back then(maybe only topped by Rinspeed)...The Osmos was definitely up there as one of the craziest-

Also, made a post about it on oppo that day...dont think anyone noticed though lol. I really need to do an oppo review of the P1 too..

Sure. Lol

Old span of it, yes.

Lol. Benefits of having buddies with nice cars.

Yup. Well im not Kirby...was his shoot though. I was there with my buddy with the p1

Has nothing to do with Ben (orange p1) and his wife(with the yellow LF). They just also had an opportunity to have their cars shot there by Kirby(the photographer who had access to the old span of the bay bridge before it was torn down).

See my reply to Raph.

Old span of the bay bridge before they tore it down. P1 is a good friends..918 is a local guy. I came with my buddy with the p1.

Not my favorite shot ive taken, but definitely my favorite unprocessed camera phone photo ive taken.

This. I work in the industry, and can tell you they have poached some very talented people. I think its daft to not give them the benefit of the doubt.

Generally speaking, VW concept sketches are reasonably accurate to the end product(especially with production cars vs. concepts.). Its pretty rare they let their designers push the envelope to far outside their corporate aesthetic, so i think this is a nice departure. Props to the designer for juicy sketches too !

Ask them to do a segment on mustang vs. c&c crowds.
