Uncharted 3 has some huge open scenes, and in other area's is very fast moving and still manages to pack in a significant amount of detail everywhere with all the animation, textures, and amazing lighting.

The bare-bones party style on PS3, lack of party chat, and dodgy voice chat due to people using cheapy piece of shit blu-tooth headsets, those are definitely turn offs and can be frustratingly annoying getting a solid party together since it's game dependant.

Bungie is a master at texture detail. I remember vividly, the black magic they pulled on the original halo and halo 2 on xbox. It's definitely a much needed thing too as far as first person shooters go, since you're up-close and personal with everything around you, nobody wants to look at ugly smudgy walls and floors.
