I waited months for this, played beta, bought the game and played it for two days then it just dropped off my radar. It had so much potential but I still feel like I haven't got the game that it was intended to be even if according to the developers this was their vision.

Thanks Jason, I've seen Kotaku's long form stuff it is nice, for instance your Sid Meier piece was fantastic, but it's just personal preference (I'm English) that Eurogamer really hooks me. Saying that this is an excellent link for anyone wanting more formulated pieces.
While I feel sometimes that Kotaku does tend to claw for headlines and page views, I accept this is the world we live in and it is an unfortunate necessity. Once you get past that you see there is a treasure trove of great content and easily accessible writers.
