First, the NYT article does not mention that scientists are unable to identify the materials. That info is only mentioned in the NBC interview which would make it forth-hand. A scientist tells a military director, tells a CIA manager, tells a senator, tells the reporter.

Second, not being able to identify an alloy

I think I agree with Matt Damon on this. Before we can continue to punish the men in Hollywood that are sexually harassing and assaulting people, we need to take time to identify and recognize the ones that aren’t.

After that I think we should recognize the men in Hollywood that aren’t murdering people. Then we can do

Pay check goes up, for servers, due to minimum wage. Overall Pay probably goes down for servers but up for everyone else who affect your dining experience. Bartenders, cooks, dish washers.

Well, because of the proposed changes to the rules for tipping, if you are a service worker that receives tips your employer can force you to hand over that money and not give it back. That would be one decrease in your pay.

For those who have 401K options as part of their benefits package, the changes to the rules

Based on the title and before reading the article, my impression was that he either assaulted a woman that filed a lawsuit against him. Or during court proceedings he assaulted a woman. So I agree, the title isn’t very clear.

It beats yelling at a voice assistant across the room to turn off the lights.

Or ‘accidently’ destroy all the lines for those companies.

I was racially and sexistly slurred

Allowing the company that decides the pay of un-tipped and tipped employees to decide how much they should get from tips, is a bad idea.

The salaries of the un-tipped employees is based on the fact they don’t get tips. The salaries of the tipped employees is based on the fact they do get tips.

Make a rule that allows

Of course they don’t change the fact the employee was asleep. You can’t change facts, that is how facts work.

The question is the root cause. And whether it is a failing of the employee or a business process. Waffle House is a 24 hour business, meaning there should be processes in place to ensure employees don’t fall

I did the same for the same reason.

Well the article does say he cleaned up, though doesn’t say how much.

But in his photos he isn’t wearing a hairnet, so that would be a violation of Health and Safety regulations. So that could count as vandalism maybe. Spreading dirt and contamination in a food prep area.

furthermore why was there only 1 person there? shouldn’t there be at a minimum one waitstaff and one cook?

Technically he did rob the place. So just “not vandalize”.

I am guessing the worker didn’t choose to fall asleep. Given they are sleeping on a bunch of papers and an open book, I would imagine they were studying during a very slow part of the shift and fell asleep. Which leads to the question of why did they fall asleep? Over-worked or sudden shift change would be the fault

I think there are a few reasons that would be Japanese in that category.

1. A completely different writing system. Sure Hiragana and Katakana aren’t that hard to learn (though you are wrong about the one sound part, the inclusion of “ and ° mean that symbols have 1, 2, or 3 sounds). But that just means that in addition

But if we don’t spend money on defense, who will? And I mean that literally since we, the US, spend more on defense than the next 5 countries. The US makes up about 1/3 of all defense spending in the world.

The point is that when everything is a caricature, you can’t criticize one bit for being so.

Maybe he threw it in the bay because it was a dangerous weapon that just accidentally went off and he was afraid it might go off again and hurt another person. Seems like a reasonable thing someone might do if panicked.

Cream pie, custard pie, peach pie, blackberry pie, cinnamon pie, shoofly pie, Manhattan lemon pie.

You can even make up new pies. For Thanksgiving we had extra apple and cherry filling, so we made more dough and created the Apple Cherry pie. I made a Smore pie one time by filling a graham cracker crust with melted
