An incident like this recently happened to my wife and me while we were on vacation. I thought the salesman was an asshole, but I didn’t think that I was entitled to go back later and say, “We bought this item, but we really didn’t like the way you pressured us into buying it, so you actually are guilty of theft on

Just a simple question: Do you believe it is unreasonable for a woman to think it is possible to have a male friend that will help her with manual labor that she isn’t strong enough for? A male friend that is willing to offer emotional comfort and support when she needs it? A male friend that is willing to give his

that means dudes are borderline raping/assaulting her if they manage to convince her to have sex

You clearly missed the entire point of the article.

She is not claiming what happened on her date that started at a doughnut shop was rape. The point of the article is that there is a lot of space between rape and as you put it “great sex involves loving behaviour and does NOT involve forcing anyone to do anything”.

Reading through the comments it seems liberals think this is a straight commentary on racial inequalities. And conservatives think this is a parody of the concept of ‘white privilege’.

I don’t know what he actually meant but I always follow the old saying:

Jeff Foxworthy is pretty big...... and his “You might be a redneck” bit does make fun of his audience. And Larry the Cableguy’s whole shtick is a parody of redneck culture....

...if the city “would have asked us to become a shelter early on, we would have been prepared and ready to help.”

The only time I have spoken to co-worker’s about their attire was always about safety requirements. I work in manufacturing and have reminded plenty of co-workers (usually office personal that don’t work on the manufacturing floor often) about having to wear closed-toe flat shoes, pants, or no loose clothing. And even

He talked about the issue of widening income inequality — almost unheard of for a Republican candidate — and didn’t pretend that simply cutting taxes or shrinking government would solve the problem.

I see a lot of responses and not a lot of actual answers.

Is it White Privilege to say the KKK and Nazis be allowed to gather and voice their views? No.

“Not everyone in that van was there to run over people. Some of them were very fine people”

Once again I would like to point out that there is no bag in this “Featured Bag”.

Reporter: “Are you, as the President, going to visit Charlottesville, as a show of support during their time of need?”

President: “You know I own a house in Charlottesville. In fact it isn’t a house it is a winery. In fact it isn’t just a winery it is the largest winery in the USA.”

And people were worried Trump

I don’t call my bag a purse because it isn’t a purse. The original term for purse is a small bag for coins. Mine is large and there is no money in it, so not a purse.

Now playing

How interesting someone made some thing that has been studied for decades. And has a very similar name to the 1980s book and paper, and the general field of study: Evolution of Cooperation

That is actually a common first time error when approaching a Lean (cost/waste reduction) project.

True, on average a trans soldier might cost more to support than a non-trans soldier. But you would have to weight the average cost vs the percentage of trans soldiers to non-trans soldiers. So your effort to cost

I don’t see a bag on the list or in the photo. Does this person just carry everything by hand?

Well a Kanban system is a visual system used to implement a Pull based demand system. Since this board has a build up of chores at the upstream, that makes it a Push system, which is counter to a Kanban system.

Looking at the other articles linked in this article, the name “Personal Kanban” comes from the book by Jim

What about the fact that the described system isn’t a Kanban system? Does that mean we should call it something else?
