The SWAT games were PC-only, right? I never even heard of them, having only recently gotten my hands on a game-worthy PC. Think it's worth checking out SWAT 4 now?

Brosefs is a perfect descriptor for those mooks.

I'd be exponentially more interested in BATTLECOPS. Like a satirical, Robocop-style vision of cops blowing the shit out of criminals, private security, other cops (for being crooked, straight, or just having more seniority).

At no point does anyone say something more obvious like, 'Holy shit this guy's been arrested, the cops must be here.'

He looks like he wants to punch her something fierce.

Goes well with the rest of his "every angry white dude in a Worldstar fight video" look.

What a bunch of dummies. If Rockstar was going to program racism into cops' AI, they'd have advertised that, not denied it. This isn't some magical alternate universe that spawned itself, and that demands rigorous experimentation to reveal its arcane secrets. It was a thing created by developers, who wouldn't spend

Go away.

Seeing as the Auschwitz one features characters with weirdly prominent noses (or trunks, really), pretty sure we can assume that the creator's intentions were full-on evil.

Wow. Where did this story get reposted, that it's suddenly getting this much traffic, years after going up? It was at 450k hits just last night, and now it's at 550k.

If it didn't have that stuff, it would have been a forgettably sloppy B-movie with horrendous acting, clumsy camera work and boring characters. The only reason anyone talks about that movie is because of the hideous things the director shouldn't have done to make a movie.

If you hadn't prepped us with the gif, I would have been way too busy trying to figure out why that random dude didn't have any pants on.

This looked...great! And I say that as someone who played the very first one, didn't care enough to finish it, and didn't bother to try the rest of the series. But the acting and tone, and the combat mechanics, all seem incredibly cool.

Ugh, that last example really is egregious.

That second facial expression is really something.

If anything has ever deserved to be memed, it's, "the dinner was so delicious, it needed wine."

Believe me, I've been there. What's really enraging is that, when responding to a Kotaku commenter, there's always a strong possibility that the person you're talking to is either a 14-year-old, or an adult who's that old, emotionally.

You're wasting some very good points on a site whose commenters are famously idiotic about issues of race, sexism, etc.

Not really. That's Americans being dumb and stereotypical, but no more racist or terrible than some other culture obsessing over our Wild West mythology, and assuming that it still guides our behavior (I mean, it sort of does, but not for all of us).

I didn't really care one way or another about the games, but I thought the first movie was pretty good. Relatively old school action, and Olyphant was good. This one just looks silly. 47 as a cross between Neo and the Terminator. Nothing's less interesting than a perpetually overconfident badass.
