As a longtime TF2 player, OW scratches a gameplay itch that hasn’t really been catered to at all since TF2's release. It hits the right notes, adds some new ones, and does so in appealing fashion. S’all I can say about it, but I’m gonna be on it as long as Blizzard is supporting and doesn’t screw it up.

That’s what I thought it was getting at, identifying the snake for correct treatment. But, that’s a more contemporary convention; when I put “Western” and “snake bites” together, I think of the terrible idea of sucking the venom out of the bite.

The former plan was for it to always be a Windows 10 exclusive, in exchange for some support from Microsoft. However, the start of alpha testing allowed it to be played on 7 (and 8?) They transitioned to Windows 10-only at some point.
Most crucial point aside from officially not being dead: Due to the new partnership, Gigantic will no longer be restricted to Windows 10 only, but also available at 64-bit versions for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1.
