It happened all the time in the old Universal horror flicks, which are arguably the first cinematic universe, with Frankenstein, the Wolf Man, and Dracula crossing over into each other’s films, played by various combinations of the same actors, often playing multiple roles in the same series. Hell, Lon Chaney Jr.

Morbius has been one of my favorite Marvel characters ever since he first appeared in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #101 back in the day. (I still remember buying that issue at our local 7-Eleven.) And I’ll even cop to writing a fair amount of Morbius fan-fiction back in junior high. (No, not that kind of fanfic.) And I crossed

Good point. It may be that time slots don’t matter as much as they used to.

I guess it’s too late to bring back Dr. Phibes or Blacula?

About exciting adventures through American history, no less. Lots of potential kid appeal there.

Sad, but not surprising. I still don’t understand why NBC saved this show the first time, then buried it at 10 pm on Sundays.

SOLO was a fun crime thriller set in the SW universe. What’s not to like?

Personally, I hope we still get a KENOBI movie since he was the best part of the Prequel Trilogy.

(Aside, of course, from Christopher Lee, just because he was Christopher Lee.)

I actually love the idea of the LEGENDS having a pulp-flavored adventure back in the thirties or forties with some old Mystery Men. Maybe the Golden Age version of the Sandman, complete with gas mask? Or the Crimson Avenger works, too.

The Midvale episode was a lot of fun, and the actresses playing young Kara and young Alex were uncanny.

I think they invented the “sister” thing just to explain why he kept coming after Laurie in particular as opposed to any other random victims. I guess this time around, he’s just about unfinished business . ...

Regarding continuity, this is just a practical response to the reality that the vast majority of moviegoers remember the first movie fondly, but probably didn’t stick around for all the sequels. Only hardcore FANGORIA readers know or care about what happened in HALLOWEEN 6.5: REVENGE OF THE RETURN OF THE CURSE OF

Honestly, this is the only practical way to handle this.

Yes, the interconnectedness is part of the fun, but not when it actually means hurting the individual shows just for continuity’s sake.

The shows need to work on their own terms, first and foremost.

Maybe Alfred can walk Selina down the aisle?

Selina doesn’t have much in the way of parents.

Especially since, mere moments before, she had been introducing him as “my boyfriend.”

Then: “Dealt with.”

Indeed, she seems genuinely confused by the fact that her father figure, Konstantin, has never tried to have sex with her . .. .

And there definitely some sibling rivalry going on with Konstantin’s daughter. “You like me just a little bit more. Admit it.”

Nice observation about her childish yen for parental figures. See Anna, who was her tutor and mentor before things got . . . complicated.

She’s a serial killer with an expense account and a paycheck. :)

“You know I like the breathy ones!”

She definitely enjoys killing for its own sake. A little collateral damage only adds to the thrill.

Remember when she was assigned to quietly kill that one witness and to make it look like a suicide? Villanelle couldn’t resist taking out practically an entire ward of nurses and security guards as well.

And then there

My new favorite show.
