Batman, Steed, and Peel? Sold!

1) Yes, it was a nun that got executed outside, not one of the surrogates.

2) No, they concluded that he was some sort of elite palace guard posing as a mercenary.

Not seeing much coverage, anywhere, of books, authors, and publishers?

Just saying . .. .

To be fair, Superman did stop Zod from, you know, destroying all life on Earth . . . ..

You beat me to the bunch. Don’t go dissing UNCLE. Some of us want to hear about it . . . :)

Okay, that looks amazing . ... and Lucy Lawless, too.

Probably around 1980 or so .

Somehow I missed the existence of Vampironica before, but consider me intrigued . ....

I think “Fahrenheit 451” is more of a high-school standard than a college one.

I took a college course in SF once. We read “The Space Merchants” by Kornbluth & Pohl, “We” by Yevgeny Zamyatin, “The Shockwave Rider” by John Brunner, and “The Man in the High Castle” by Philip K. Dick.

I’m ashamed to admit that I only got a B . . . .

I liked the first two movies, but was hugely disappointed by the third one. (Never saw the remake.) So we’re overdue for a good OMEN sequel.

Well, Affleck is a movie star AND a director, so it’s not like they cast Steven Spielberg as Aquaman or something. And a number of actors have directed themselves in big, successful movies.

Kenneth Branagh in HENRY V, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, etc.

ARGO won Best Picture, yes, but, famously, Affleck was snubbed when it came to Best Director, not even getting an nomination.

To clarify: He directed an Oscar-winning movie. He won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. But he has not won the Oscar for Best Director, so “Oscar-winning director” is the wrong way to phrase it.

So what you’re saying is that LUCIFER is the new SLEEPY HOLLOW?

Makes sense since I believe some of the same people are involved.

So I’m guessing we don’t need to worry about her frail heart anymore? :)

There’s also a collectible statue—with an alternate head!

I was always more into Major Matt Mason myself. He was an Apollo-era toy astronaut . . . .

Growing up in Seattle, we named our first dog “Pippi”—after Pippi Longstocking, of course.

Does that count?

Don’t forget “Isis” from that old STAR TREK episode with Gary Seven.

Although I guess “Isis” has different connotations these days . ...
