Anyone else remember Catwoman/Vampirella? Or Batman/Tarzan?

Okay, that was great . . . . and I'm not going to nitpick their choices.

Forgotten by whom? I bought every issue.

Sounds like a smart idea, actually. SMALLVILLE had millions of dedicated fans.

I don't know. I seem to recall the American version of ALL IN THE FAMILY having some success . . . .

This. Even as a kid, I figured riots broke out shortly after the end of the movieā€”and wondered how on Earth those sheltered City dwellers were going to survive on their own. And, of course, Logan and Jessica were probably lynched by an angry mob once everybody got over how cute Peter Ustinov was . . . .

No, no, the Space Phantoms! Or maybe the Stone Men from Saturn . . . .

I'm actually glad that the trailer isn't giving away a lot of plot details. Really, the pitch here is "Look! Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk, Scarlet Johannsen, and some guy with a bow in one movie!"

"And there came a day unlike any other . . . ."

I don't know. I'm a lifelong sf fan and I can take a joke. Besides, they were making fun of Newt ("May the Divorce be with you!"), not science fiction.

Okay, in real life, most comic book fans knew that Superman wasn't going to stay dead (although the mainstream media seems to have fallen for the stunt). But that was still a sublime rant!

Although that's more of a voodoo movie than a ghost movie.

I would be remiss if I did not mention that THE LEGEND OF HELL HOUSE is based on Richard Matheson's novel HELL HOUSE.

You beat me to the punch. I was going to cite "The Changeling," too. Good to see "The Haunting" and "The Innocents" mentioned, though.

Exactly. Star Wars: Underworld needs Kate Beckinsale in black leather or what's the point?

Not a movie, but let's not forget the urinal that turned into a liquid-metal Terminator in THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES . . ..

Best line of ep: "Okay, I'll let a ghost lock me in a storage unit so you can tape me taking my clothes off and turning into a wolf . . . ."

The nitpicker in me is obliged to point out that the Little Mermaid was Hans Christian Anderson, not the Brothers Grimm. Not that Hollywood is likely to worry about that . . . . :)

Okay, how about "Steel: Round Two" or "Seven More Steps to Midnight" or "Earthbound Again"?

"Earthquake Weather" was a sequel to both "Last Call" and "Expiration Date."
