Okay, I think I need to check out "Death Valley" . . . .

Gotta disagree. What's so high-concept about a ghost hunting for the man who killed him. Like I said elsewhere, that's GHOST meets THE FUGITIVE meets QUANTUM LEAP. What tv exec couldn't get that?

Although it's probably worth pointing out that the Deadman comics predate Quantum Leap by DECADES . . . .

Sound good to me. Deadman is perfectly suited to tv; it's basically Quantum Leap meets The Fugitive. And I won't even complain if they ditch the garish red circus outfit . . . .

Thank you! I was trying to remember where I had seen that actor before.

You know, I always thought the Warehouse needed a dog . . ..

I believe there's goo in the bags . . . .

Edgar Rice Burroughs also liked to link his various series together, most notably in "Tarzan at the Earth's Core."

Anno Dracula is VERY good. There are also two sequels to date.

A friend of mine, who has an autistic son, was very leery of the Gary character at first, but has been pleasantl surprised at how Gary has been handled.

And apparently has very bad aim . . . .

We felt it here in rural PA. Very weird. I grew up with earthquakes in the Northwest, but have never felt one out east before.

By Richard Matheson, of course.

I just glanced at the original story. It doesn't seem to specify a date, although, at one point, somebody recalls a match "back in '94." I believe the TZ version was set in the 1970's, though.

Thanks for reporting this. I was curious about the results.

Forget Wonder Woman. Now I really want a good Vampi movie.

Also, The Wizard of Oz, Some Like It Hot, The Mark of Zorro, The Three Musketeers, Victor/Victoria, etc.

Sounds like fun. I have fond memories of the original . . . and I think I still have a copy of the novelization by Skipp & Spector.

Ortizlgnd: That whole business about how killing the first Lycan or first Vampire would end the curse was just a myth perpetuated by Marcus for his own protection. This was explicitly explained in the second movie although a lot of people seemed to have missed that. (Tanis explains it to Selene about midway through

The previous three films were all released theatrically. Why not this one?
