But have you dealt with Arizona summers, though? With a sunshade and the max-legally-allowed high-grade tinting, a non-black car will still need to have the A/C on Max/Recirculate for the first 10-20 minutes, then maybe dropping one speed after that. You legit have to put your sunshade in when you park for the night,

I love Tesla, but until they lose the mandatory glass roof, and quit adding $3-5K to the price to get an exterior and interior that isn’t black/hella dark, people in desert states ain’t buying. We’ll lose half the range trying to air condition the car.

Puhlease, if we know the Donald, the next AF1 fleet will be Irkut MC-21s if anything.

Really, I’d be OK with turning him loose at the controls of his 757. I don’t think he’d even be able to kill anyone else.

Nope. AZ.

88° here yesterday. Ran the AC in the house. I want winter back.

There’s two parts to this, though, and my local dealers engage in the really shady kind. They know they have no competition for 175 miles, so virtually every car that’s not a leftover from last model year gets a few thousand tacked on, often not reflected on the sticker, and given a gibberish code name and explanation

aka “the only way our crusts are edible”

You won’t get a chart, but the same data can be pulled from any Mac. Option-click on the Wifi icon by the clock, and open Wireless Diagnostics. Don’t bother with the dialog that opens, go up to Window in the menu bar and choose Scan. It’ll pop up every network it can see, plus which channels they’re on and signal

This story desperately needs to edited to reflect that this proposal, even more stupidly, only applies to ‘full-time students’, meaning they’re actually disincentivizing higher education by making college students take the pay cut while high school dropouts get the higher wage.

I’d consider it somewhere like Sonic, especially when it’s 120˚ here, but I don’t get the new thing with so many other fast-food-type joints who now have it built into their POS systems where they have to point out “it’s going to ask you a question” before you can swipe/tap.

Nah, I’ve heard how you candyasses are on the verge of death once it breaks 90˚. We’ll talk once you can handle 122˚.

The first time a Fox, OANN, or other righty ‘news’ joint has a photog knocked up by a blindside swing to the head, suddenly we’ll hear the excuse about how some ‘bad apples’ are getting into these rallies to cause problems. Until then, the field day on the media will just continue.

They’ll keep claiming that we took home more in each check because of the changes to withholding... which is true... but I’m finding that most ‘average’ taxpayers I know still came out taking home less year over year, once you factor in both of those things plus the other changes.

I look forward to jumping on that cheap flight to Cabo that left two days ago. ;)

We’ve been lucky in that we haven’t had the disasters that Maricopa County seems besieged with. And personally, I’m of the opinion that I don’t care if we have results that are anywhere near final the night of. I think ALL jurisdictions should hold all results until 9PM ET Friday night, then release them all at once

Agreed. And anyone north of the Carolinas can no longer bitch about heat. We survive temps over 120º every year, you all can handle 90º without it being the lead story on every national newscast for three days. And it happens every year, so your lack of preparation for summer is the issue.

We have that as an option in Arizona, except the now-barely-Republican-majority legislature got right to work this session with a host of proposed changes to that process, including requiring that mail ballots be mailed back (and delivered before polls closed), removing the option of dropping them off at recorder’s

Not every Inventory deal is an amazing one, but ‘tis still a deal nonetheless.

Honestly, I think the most realistic justification for the WH’s continued existence is that whatever functionally replaced it would likely cost more than Trump wants for a border wall and three times the operating cost of the existing facility, once it was finished in 27 years.
