A few times I’ve come across some form of ‘league championship’ bowling on ESPN... held at some alley in Maine. Way different atmosphere than the normal golf-like silence. Teams throw one frame per member in rotation, everyone’s mic’ed, and the crowd is rowdy and cheering. Makes for a far more interesting broadcast.

Last summer I stumbled across some of that cornhole shit on ESPN. Event was being held on a breezy day on the roof of the Linq in Vegas. Now, even on a breezy day, the towers on the Strip can make for some wild wind gusts, and this day was no different. It was kinda hilarious watching these ‘experts’ throwing a bean

Trees take up too much valuable real estate.

They’re the ones who think it’s great that Trump is now promising to give handout tax money to farmers (predictably) hurt by his own illogical policies.

I flew EWR>PHX on an A320 with about 40 people including the crew on board. It was a mid-morning flight on Memorial Day Eve (Sunday). I was in first class on an upgrade paid for with miles, and after boarding there were only two of us up front. Three more individuals and one couple got the OK to run back up the jetway

I think it hit the downslope on the leading edge almost perfectly parallel, and the ball was moving fast enough that it just skimmed the surface of the sand without plowing into it, followed the curve up the lip, and then plopped in the rough.

Nothing will happen.

Well, they’re doing a bad job, as nobody has targeted me with credit card offers, cooking magazines, other appliances, extra Foodsaver bags, or tinfoil hats thus far.

Arizona legislators have used this multiple times for both DUIs and domestic assaults.

This stretch is four lanes, technically five (wide left turn), not divided. During the day it’s by no means deserted, though this would be impossible on weekends when the river is full of Angelinos or in the winter when the snowbirds are around.

He’d be better off here in AZ. Ample available workforce, right to work laws, and a governor and legislature that will end public education if it means lower taxes for large corporations.

Damn, wish I’d seen this before it sold out.

On a three hour trip to Phoenix from here, some friends and I stopped midway for a bathroom break. After getting back in our car, we watched the mayor of our city come out and get into the vehicle on our right. About fifteen seconds later, he exited the vehicle with a confused look on his face, walked around us, and

Neither do I, but when my parents visit, they buy the shit out of that pizza, so somehow I end up with a half dozen of those things in the fridge because they never use them.

Pro tip: since it’s just oil and garlic and seasoning, it’s fabulous to just throw on some chopped onions and peppers for a quick stir frying.

Anyone who can’t name “No Way to Prevent This” deserves a kick in the balls.

The trash can to the right already met someone’s bat, it would appear.

To be fair, I come here for the facts with a lot of BS, it’s just that the BS that Gawker/GMG/Splinter includes doesn’t impact the facts, just makes it more tolerable to digest the garbage in the world around us. Snark, sarcasm, and biting commentary make the bleakest stories more stomachable.

Sunovabish it is.

Scalia croaked in FEBRUARY. Waiting is justifiable.
