Guess I'm really lucky. Not only have I seen auroras in southwestern Arizona, it was also equal parts red and green.

They're nothing exciting. They make a decent snack for a kid but that's about it... pretty tiny.

I'm not even sure the hijackers realized how far into the execution of their plan they would get before the mighty US government would start to get a handle on it. Listening to the recordings they released last month you realize what a real cluster#### that morning was.

Yeah, I think that qualifies as a woofer, not a sub, at that size.

Good lord, they handle 140 characters of text at a time, how hard can it be?

I would have been a 16 year old working full time at a TV station, in the midst of transitioning into directing the 6 and 10pm newscasts... Ha ha

Cool to see. I enjoyed watching that airframe in particular during the months it (along with other 787s and some 747-800s) was here in Yuma doing flight testing, knowing that eventually it was going to be the first one in service.

Actually, I knew I wouldn't be able to afford (well, or at least 'justify') it once I saw the included Pelican case.

As much as I'd love to see it, especially once they tie in San Diego too, I'm still pessimistic about this actually getting done. It's almost too good to be true.

But the thing is, he's not saying that he 'supports' AT&T's plan. He's just saying that given their situation, it was a logical decision for AT&T to try it.

Interesting, I did a clear liquid diet (surgery prep) for over two weeks and didn't get nearly as desperate as this guy sounds after a couple days... did lose over 25 pounds though.

Yet they won't invest the three minutes it takes to actually set the privacy settings that way... they'll just complain later.

Actually, it looks like live streaming starts at 10am... not, 9:30...

I don't see where that quote supports it at all. If anything, he's just saying it was inevitable because of the policies in place.

Yeah, the dark part off to the left in the later part is the 'greener' and less-populated parts of South America. I thought it was water at first.

Hell. Yeah. I may in fact piss myself if they're in there.

Judging by the wind noise in the last shot looking down the runway, I wonder how much the crosswind may have affected it...

The $5 thing seems pretty reasonable to me, seeing as how odds are you're making the change after the package is on truck for delivery, and it's either wasting space on the truck if you're having it held, or your wasting their gas and time having them take it off their routes that were designed for max efficiency.

70˚ weather to end? Hell, I'm in Arizona and I'm pleased as punch that it didn't manage to break 100˚ the last two days for the first time since sometime in May.

Amazing how they can make airline seats look more modern and even more uncomfortable at the same time. Surprised they just don't strap you to a carbon fiber back board sans padding to save weight.
