One correction, on the interlace issue, not 'all' broadcast TV is interlaced. It was in the analog days, but Fox and ABC (and usually, thus, their affiliates) use 720p rather than 1080i for their HD programming. I'm all about the progressive formats now... so sick of fighting with interlacing while doing conversions…

Has anyone tried downloading their videos to archive/transfer to YouTube? When I follow the directions, which tell you to go to the video's status page to download the FLV, it tells me that's an invalid request, and I can't find any other way to it. And of course all the support options are shut down/archived already.
