How can one call themselves a graphic designer when they consider white text on lime green or yellow to be legible...?

Really, Giz, I would have expected a Photoshopped whitehouse.com on that monitor. That's probably why he was too busy to send any email.

To me, the bigger thing is why photojournalists increasingly feel the need to 'editorialize' by using filters and lenses with shallow depths of field to try to change the mood of a photo. To me, journalism isn't about adding false drama to images... or anything like that. It should be straight up, unprocessed imagery,

I think it makes a lot of sense in a lot of western areas too. The cities out here are spread enough that high-speed would be even more efficient, and you'd need fewer stops as well, since there's lots of open space in between.

Yeah, so does my craptacular enV Touch, if I hold it like a douche.

Is anyone else getting tired of video that looks like it was shot on a cellphone with a fingerprint on the lens? Oh wait, they meant it to look that way, that's why they use a DSLR.

I LOVE that. I guess I'm in the minority, but I really like the design. And I hated the Beta.

Based on the fact that the chipset in the VZW version already could support GSM as well, there's about a 100% chance that from here on out, there will be only one version.

Hence the nice chronological list on the side. I actually like the fact that I can catch up on what I've missed without having to open nine posts in different tabs now.

Yeah, I find it a bit less credible based on the fact that the tag shows it was printed on Jan 17th.

Gotta love how we're always one Sun fart away from living Bronze-Age-style... or not at all.

@whitemex88: Yeah, he's hosting SNL this weekend.

@AimAtTheFace: True, but the concern would still be that someone along the line could game the system, be it someone involved with the lottery that knows the system and can alert accomplices somehow, or even a store clerk who, during a slow shift, could look at the tickets and buy the next one if they think it's

The only downside to the phone book dying is more calls from my grandmother who has realized that I can find anything online in about six seconds.

Feel free to send some snow to us in Yuma, AZ. The only times our airport has been closed due to weather was when it gets over 120˚.

@taosaur: Turned in my first typed report in 5th grade in 1992. I think I wrote it in a DOS version of some Lotus word processor.

@carbeque: Nah, he was a pompous prick all along.

So how is the hotspot in SoCal in the middle of mostly empty desert? And I find it strange that Nogales, AZ is so foul-mouthed.

@OMG! KaZx is Captain Obvious!: It's a great commercial... a nice little shout out to all the VZW loyals that wanted an iPhone but ultimately realized that hardware's great, but it's not of much use if it doesn't work (or AT&T chooses to not offer 3G in your market, like they have here, yet VZW's had it for years).

My (ex-)wife ditched me for a guy she had met playing Rock Band 2 on the PSN. They got married last month.
