@tchangtx: Or better yet, an 8" floppy.

I'll wait for the hysterics when some Japanese publisher makes a game where you can fly a Zero and bomb Pearl Harbor.

I know I find it much easier to solder using an iron with a footlong ponytail of nylon hair.

Anyone know if the QT trick works in FCP? Would love to see some of those kinds of tricks for scrubbing video. I'd be all up on a Magic Trackpad.

@thnikkamax: The type of plate they use to attach the ties will allow the rails to slide somewhat, so the actual fault may not be at that spot, it's just where the stress on the rails made itself evident.

Yeah, I'll buy that this was probably a jet. Nowhere near as cool as the launches from Vandenberg AFB that we see clear in Arizona... (example above)

Methinks either it was a bit more than 35 miles off the coast of LA, or was a smaller missile, seeing as how we can normally see the Vandenberg launches clear down in Yuma, AZ, yet this wasn't that prominent in the LA sky even.

New? I saw this before Jackass 3D when i saw it three weeks ago... (Tron trailer not in 3D though...)

From all of us in Arizona,

The Guard Dog cable protectors caught my eye. Have them at work... much lighter to carry than the other brands.

@MadMacs: I use two Minis running Keynote as the 'billboards' for

@JackMatt: Taking a stab that it may have been a propane bomb... or something like that where the gas burns clean and fast, and the fireball would be slowed by the need for more oxygen at first.

@gforgary: That and the fact it's not like one guy shot it... those would appear to be from different news organizations, since the graphics change from angle to angle. Still interesting.

@pixelsnader: Wondered the same. Seems like it would only help the depth perception by increasing the distance between the two. I don't quite see the advantage of having two that close together.

@OMG! Jakooboo!: Christ, the first day the low was below 75˚ here in Yuma the damn heater was on in my office.

@Krackato-ATOMIC COLLIDER!: Really, I think in a nut would be more appropriate. At least it gives them a second chance to redeem themselves, or take themselves out of the gene pool.

@\m/ chaosphere \m/: Tell me about it. I have a colony of 300-400 of them living literally 12 feet from my office desk. Always fun to point out the bat-piss-stalactites on the bottom of the crevices they're in. That and they apparently enjoy pissing and flinging deuces on my door as they fly by.

@hemo_jr: Follow the link to the actual page on Google. Key is in bottom left. And you can choose between Governor, Senate and House, and choose between several different sets of poll data.

@rootyb: Great minds think alike.
