@rock99rock: Wouldn't it be just as good to have an Apple TV then for the same price? Assuming you can handle the limited audio output options....

As one who works in TV and deals with a bunch of wireless devices that occupy this spectrum already, this whole concept scares me. The last thing I need when I'm directing a live football game is all my camera ops' headsets to go dead because some 14 year old four blocks away is hacking his 'Super Wi-fi' modem.

@Swobo: I don't even want to imagine what that did to their lenses. I've seen what the haboobs here in AZ do to them.

@dead9uy: BUT IT'S JUST SO MUCH FUN... ha ha

@Too.Tired.To.Sleep: Obviously the key is having the Mac OS for Bonjour. If he had been using Windows it would have taken an hour and three calls to tech support just to get it to see another system on the same network running a different OS.

No fair. We don't have this 'Fall' you speak of here in AZ. We demand an all-flowers contest during January to make up for it.

@Agagulba: No, it's called off-road racing. Watch "Dust to Glory"...

@Derek Clayton Twigg: It's not the sun, it's the moon. They're long exposure photos, so the moon looks extra bright.

Better start building your shelter for when the damn thing comes back... don't want to get hit.

@salemid: I could live with just the FB and email boxes, but the video takes up too much space. Or at least they could make it where once you X it in one post, it won't show up again.

@thisdood: You win this comments thread, my friend.

@LetsTryThisAgain: what's the deal with farmville anyway? i played it once. then i analyzed the game mechanics, deduced that the rest of my life would be scheduled around when the f&#@ing yellow lentil was ready and blocked the app to eliminate the four hundred daily posts from friends.

I find that the most useful keyboard command with Twitter is usually -W.

@DustyButt: Which is then followed by two or three n00bs asking why they can't spell....

@Subliminal Bukkake: Yeah, but I think it's supposed to mock the fact that he paid 3X that and can't see it in sunlight.

(edited) This has nothing to do with the cleared spectrum from the DTV transition. This is for space in between the existing TV broadcasts (hence the 'white space' ie, static).

@Arken: Yeah, but that UAV only had the juice to keep itself in the air, not carry the additional weight of the communications payload, plus the power needed for it as well. And we had nearly perfect (albeit hot) weather here during that entire flight too.

Funny that no. 4 mentions the Manfrotto tripod.
