My iPod Touch 2G got about 2% done with the upgrade, then hung. After five hours, it still hadn't moved and iTunes had also died at some point and wasn't responding anymore. Now it's bricked. Yay.

Good lord, that Mitsubishi TV is almost the size of a sheet of plywood.
@1roll20s: Don't know that the price itself is 'early adopter' grade, but once you factor in the additional costs of the books it's a bit much.
Sorry, but B&N is screwing the pooch by not pushing more textbooks onto the Nook. I know certain texts will need color, but a lot don't. And B&N currently sells e-textbooks that aren't usable on their own Nook. Plus the fact that their digital versions (with a 180 day or less limit) cost as much as a full book....…
Next we'll hear that Windows 7 SP1 will never BSOD.
@kinglouis25: If you have the Volt, then just stop at the Chevron and buy a few gallons of gas. Same result, and faster than charging via the grid anyway.
@electricarchie: If you look at about 1:04, it looks like they used three different cameras. Using a rig with several cameras close together, you'd be able to switch between them on most of the medium to wide shots without it being noticeable. That would have made it possible to do the ultra slow mo shots on one…
@Caeruleas: I use my iPod Touch running the Slacker app in a Sony boombox... same idea though. Used to work good with my old router... 3 songs then a network error every time. Made me hurry up since I knew it was coming... ha ha ha
@radambomb: a FAIL this big can only mean good things for we VZW iPhone hopefuls...
@PossibleCabbage: Wouldn't that be $99 (bundle) + $50 (extra Move) = $150? Same as Kinect, and with free buttons,
I think this is one of those concepts that's finally going to click in my brain in about three days, at some random and inconvenient time.
@Red Rocket: It shows that 10.1 is available on the site...
@Yeah!: Not to mention that fact that I'm sure if they'd RECYCLED the iPad instead of burning it, the environment would be better off.
Something tells me he is also too inept to figure out a Redbox, or he'd realize how screwed they are.
Something makes me think this could be to get people to re-up now (or in the next couple months) before a Verizon/Apple partnership is announced in a few months...
Or he fears the wrath of Jobs more than the wrath of God and is denying it until Monday. Not that I'm holding out for a VZW iPhone or anything...
@joe reader: Yeah, and because the booksellers won't be able to gouge you repeatedly during the reselling ad and buyback cycle, it'll be that much MORE expensive.
+100 pts to LaCie for remembering that FireWire still exists. Now if only Apple could...
@garrysim: I can't even find a list of what 'classic' games are on this thing; their site shows a list where I think only 6 of the 17 are real Gottliebs. For $6000 you could buy a half dozen pretty decent games off Craigslist.
