I know I'm turning into my mother when I say:

The Artist is wonderful. Really awesome. By all means, do see it on the big screen and not just at home!

I am 5 years younger but look at least 10. WTF.

Here's what I want to suggest. When you are with her and the two of you are eating (meals or whatevs), eat the way she's supposed to eat (on her eating plan) without telling her that's what you're doing or discussing it unless she brings it up. Act like it's totally normal. If she's supposed to eat 5 ounces of protein

IMO, she's the prettiest of the bunch. Kim has done herself up to look like some sort of bot.

It was horrible. It was also 4am on a night when I'd just spent 8 hours at urgent care to get a scrip for an UTI. Suffice to say, I cried right there in the Walgreens.

A pharmacist refused me once because of her religious beliefs, and in doing so spouted a bunch of hooey about how it wouldn't really work. Circumventing the pharmacists would be a big help.

Not to sound entirely insane, but isn't a bake sale effectively a tax on the savings of small children? "Pony up, kids! Those dodgeball balls don't pay for themselves!"

The assumption is that its the women who have the time and/or experience to bake. Yes, some dads do it too, but it's traditionally a mommy obligation. As for inexpensive, I value my time more than the few bucks I might be able to pull in on a pan of rice crispie treats. Take the value of my time as a working woman +

I am anti-bake sale on principle. Really, the women have to get together and bake to raise money? I stamped this out with the women's law organization I'm a member of and think it needs to be stamped out everywhere else too. It's no better than bikini car washes, IMO — nothing but gender stereotype. How about I

All of this back and forth about whether a 10-year-old can consent (and no, she can't) aside: note that the article tells us that in Mexico, in order to get an abortion, she'd need to demonstrate that the pregnancy is the result of a rape. It's still rape — and good lord, needs to be defined as such legally in this

This. 100% agreed.

The point being, any increased number of recent views is probably about that.

Darren White is right now — at this moment! — embroiled in this big scandal in which he whisked his wife away from her one-car accident before DWI testing could be performed (and by DWI, the "influence" was maybe drugs). He's not the Sheriff anymore, nor is he Albuquerque's public safety czar — he was just, uh,

Only four years, really? Four years on the job isn't exactly something I'd be all highlighting in my campaign for president. You've gotta get into the double digits to be claiming that as your career.

@fauxfruit: I've been through it, as have many of my friends. The treatment is really effective and then they check you on a more-frequent schedule for a while. I think of it as like having a funny mole — they remove it, check it every once in a while, but you're totally okay.

It's been a cliche since, like, every Judge Reinhold movie ever made.

I have to say: I'm way less worried about the man's johnson than I am about his politics. By which I mean, I'd like to see him stay in office. As hard as I imagine it will be to resist the pressure to step aside.
