^ you sound like a hipster.

Thank god for this sign. The problem with hipsters is that they are soooo bleeding-edge with their hipness that they are too hip to even be hipsters. Detroit is the obvious home for these SUPER neo-hipsters as it is just so cliche that it isn't even cliche in its cliche'dness. Plus now all these kids in skinny jeans

already bored. Let me know when they go the route of Colorado and Washington and then maybe I'll start paying attention.

That is why i mentioned in an earlier post (very top) that I worked for a very large (D**** T***) BHPH, and what they are doing is downright terrible. They expect to 40% of loans to go into collections and 80% of those to become repossessions. But that is okay since people already put down their 1-3k, made a few

Oh forgot to mention, the example vehicle above would be something like a base model 2006 Ford Focus with 55k, roll up windows and a 5speed. Or a PT cruiser with similar mileage and lack of amenities. Cars that are bought at auction for $5-6,000 before receiving MINIMAL "reconditioning" by unqualified mechanics

The sad part is that generally the people at these dealerships are not the most... intelligent human beings alive. The entire process works off this assumption - the best part is when you get to the finance charge and payment section:

Ohhhh man - I worked a a dealership that does this... a pretty big one.

Mine is a 2009.

Yea that's a bummer. They tend to be ridden hard and put up wet. Sounds Like you made a good decision

Still better than anything Kanye has put out.

THIS, so much THIS.

This person just might be batshit crazy enough to be interesting.

damn you beat me to it.

Except perhaps this. I like this.

"DETROIT - In fact, the Cobalt SS set a lap record for front-drive sport-compact cars at the "'Ring," [Nurburgring, Germany] posting a time of 8:22.85 minutes – besting the previous record by more than 13 seconds."

A cobalt SS has essentially the same ground clearance as a stock cobalt. Perfectly adequate. I drove my car all last winter in colorado 2-3x per week from Denver to Summit County to snowboard and the limited slip plus some cheap-o all seasons would get me through the snow better than most anything except the Subarus.

because racecar for the street. Most were just raced. If you cover that car in livery (as many were) it isn't so "vomit inducing". It just looks like a racecar.

Well apparently not, considering all the RWD cars it is faster than (many). Would it be faster off the line as a RWD? Sure. But "ZOMG RWD" is a pretty ignorant position to take - We already established it is faster than a S2000 CR around a track, one of the holy grails of RWD (MUCH FASTER mind you). There are

you win.

Agreed - those wheels are excellent - are you on 5x110?
