I was going to jump in about this episode. In many ways, the quintessential TOS episode.

Wow, not a single nomination from Analog, Asimov’s or F&SF. That is very odd.

Maybe, but Orville is lowbrow dreck Trek for the basement dwellers.

I don’t >>like<< Star Trek anymore. As a fan since 1969 (I even published a fanzne for 6 years), I’ve had it. The Federation as shadowy and suspect, space travel by mushrooms, violence being necessary to prevent more violence, a psychotic captain .... this is not Star Trek. It’s not.

A nice primer on the philosophy of Trek

Season 9: new energy, ratings continue slow slide.

It will seem this way. Until it doesn’t.
Eventually, the key actors will be done with it. I give the show 4 more seasons.

Peeps. It has always been the peeps.

In the same way that Nimoy knew there was a new timeline, yes.
And who is to say that Kirk died on Veridian III? After all, perhaps Kirk's new timeline experience with a clutch now allows him to get out of one.

Well my bf replaced my orange juice with pineapple juice & honey. Not sure why.
