Just that hood alone (carbon fiber) is $13400 before paint labor. Lots of CF panels on that car, none of which are cheap. Adds up very fast.

Right, but an RV is like a second home inasmuch as a trailer park home is. Trailer homes don’t appreciate (instead they heavily depreciate) because they slowly fall apart and become worthless over time.

One thing that would make it even more interesting would be an extra set of doors and seats.

And the colors are all hideous.

Not a big fan of CR for some car-related stuff, but no issue with them going to bat on the gear shift issue. This is a good opportunity for them to throw their weight around to good benefit.

Er, there’s a reason why 12Cs are considered bargains right now. They’re at 50-60% of their MSRP, whereas 458s mostly command most of what they were new, even if you get a near 10 year old one.

“Over 100K” is selling it short. Most 996 GT2s are in the $175-$190K range. Though the reality is unlike much desired 997s, there is no 996 that has yet appreciated.

That’s a Smart Roadster.

The front fascia did look like it was a little too low on the car though, like the grille and headlights seemed like they should be higher up.

The Raptor only has a 66" long bed. Yep, just 5 1/2 feet.

No, no, no. Do the opposite.

That Sera is really making me think too, since it is for sale. Will take more effort to get it back to factory correct, but what’s nice about the Sera is the engine makes enough power to not be a dog on the highway. Plus those doors.

I’ll be getting in touch with him, and possibly making a visit in something new (but weird) to show I’m serious. He’s auctioning some stuff off that is normally “Not for sale”, which would include his Be-1, that is both the color and the roof (tintop, not the canvas roof) I’m looking for.

That just means it’ll end up going for auction via GAIA Classic. That’s what happens to the other ones he has listed as Not for Sale.

Everyone has a price...

OMG I need to get in touch with this man. I have cash on hand for a Be-1. I may need to buy one from him if they are as perfect as I think they are. Dead serious.

Jason, does he have any Nissan Be-1s? If so, I need to get in contact with this man and see what he’d be willing to let one of them go for.

This. Now is not the time for someone to take on a loan, Tom.

Obviously the first car should be a V8 muscle car, like a Mustang or Camaro. It would be a great winter car. Plus you’d have something to take to Cars and Coffee.
