Not replacing him is a good thing. There are still possibly too many hosts as it is.

Not much of a premium on it. Though there are Z06s with low mileage (like 30,000) and no accidents on Autotrader for less money, also being sold by dealerships.

I really wish they’d make another Brooklands.

I'm aware. I've driven through part of it. More cows than people.

Now playing

On Sunday I leave at 2AM from Boston, towards Maine. In one of these:

100% agree with Doug here.

Though granted, something that has to be taken into account is, “Make something idiot proof and humanity will make a better idiot.”

Will be in Maine myself on Sunday, looking for great driving roads in the wee hours of the morning. Will reach out on Twitter to see if I can rendezvous in the Boxster Spyder and take a poke at the Vantage.

Providing an easy way for people to figure out what they are owed means more people will look to get what they’re owed.

AMG GT’s proportions are a bit off.

Just sold this to some young whippersnapper!

Also, roadsters. Lots of roadsters.

My experience, as an actual prospective buyer, was that the entire dealership experience was infuriating. Test drives — even of demos and two year old used examples — were completely refused by the first 14 SRT dealerships I tried to work with (after which I gave up). The expectation is I would plunk down ~$130K

I never understood the point of the Hummer limousines.

Had a CGTS (2015, one of the first delivered) before the Spyder, coming from an NC Miata the eight years prior. I considered it a major misstep. Despite being very much in New England, and never giving a second thought to dropping the top in 10F air temps in winter.

Home now. Pictures. Couldn’t get the CF seats because of a stop order that was active when my order was pending build. Plan to add them later on at whatever insane price Porsche will charge me for them at the parts counter.

Trying to do this from a phone on the bus. Here goes!

I actually passed on two GT4 allocations that popped, to instead get a Boxster Spyder, because for me less grip and a slidy-er rear end is more fun.

Akio Toyoda is a hardcore car guy. Toyota’s typically “normal” offerings are just because he’s also a ruthlessly pragmatic businessman.

I can’t wait for people in their Ford Flex to start bragging to me at gas stations.
