Glad to have you here. Happy Hanukkah

This afternoon, at my office, I took a survey. I asked 21 people within a 25 foot radius from my desk whether they know any Jewish people/couples. 8 were white, 10 were African-American, 2 were Hispanic, and 1 was Indian. One person (the Indian) said that they have a neighbor in pearland who is Jewish. That's it.

Sometimes I take S Braeswood as a shortcut from the South Loop to my office on 59 at Bissonnet. I know there's a chick fila on beechnut.

It is a pleasure meeting you. Let me say, you my friend, are the first Jewish person I have ever met around these parts. I hope it is not the last.

Follow the thread.

Oh is that why it's called Meyerland and Marvin Zindler was from Bellaire? Blah blah blah blah blah I thought we were talking about Sugar Land.

It's always more fun to argue for the other side of an argument.

If I didn't like minorities, I wouldn't live in Houston. I don't think my original statement has any racial undertones to it at all. All I was simply pointing out is that there isn't many Jewish people here.

I'm in no way being condescending. I am well aware that people of all colors and creeds live here. I'm simply pointing out the fact that Jewish people aren't very prevalent in this city. I have not being anti-Semitic or ignorant, for that matter. I did grow up in the suburbs, but I promise you that I've lived in many

I just find it ironic that despite holding the world ransom over their persistent bickering on the other side of the world, they pretty much all chose the same suburb to live in across the world in my city. Also, had I not declared that I have no ill-will against either ethnic group, I could have been accused as being

So far, I've voted yes for Vodkasamm, Rocket Frog, and Drunk Papa John. No on buttfumble and Teo's gf (even though DS does deserve the credit for outting her).

Yeah I've heard that they live in West U and Meyerland. I need to sign up for JDate and meet me a nice Jewish girl.

Also a lot of Arabs too. I don't hate either ethnic group, but it's seems that they can't avoid each other.

Deer Park. But since turning 18, I've lived in every corner of the city.

Come to think about it, I have seen that Jewish community center on South Braeswood.

I've lived in Houston, TX for my entire life (27 years) and I've never once met a Jewish person here.

You should try Indian airlines. They treat you like cattle.

I'm paying $2.99 for 93 here in Texas.

I saw $2.69 in Pasadena at a Citgo a couple of weeks ago. I tried to take a picture but it didn't really come out.
