It’s about time Democrats got the message that abortion is the issue to focus on. Just showing republicans flailing for an answer is all that’s needed.

“ I believe in a culture of life”... unless that life happens to be black, brown, female, LGBTQ+, kids being shot up in their classrooms, immigrants, refugees, jewish, muslim, disabled, poor, or homeless. Yeah, exclude all those groups and sure it looks like a “culture of life.”

It’s because, over time, we have been trained to eschew art and creativity as a fanciful whim.

To me the most amusing thing is when they complain that some change in the code has made it impossible to figure out how to reproduce the same thing they were “making” before. Almost as though they have no hand in making it at all..

One of my personal pet peeves about the AI “prompt-gineers” (aside from, you know, the theft of art and labour etc etc all that) is that they will “produce” a piece of work with shockingly obvious issues that wouldn’t fly past the eye of even an armature artist....and just say “fuck it, good enough. It’s fun how meeting in the middle actually just means conceding to the right wing. Sort of like how being an independent of the “centrist” variety is just a euphemism for enabling that right wing.

I’m generally to the right of the Jez (and general Gizmodo sites) zeitgeist but I can’t help but chuckle when red states keep voting against abortion bans after Dobbs.  The rabid pro-life wing of the GOP is like the dog that caught the car and found that bumpers don’t taste good.

Republicans hate voting rights because so many of their positions are deeply unpopular & inhumane, and can only be enforced by gerrymandering, voter suppression and other dirty tricks.
