So do most people just own them as decoration horses then?

Yeah - for some reason I thought they’d confirmed long ago that they had an open marriage and had side relationships and that was part of what sustained them. My guess is they probably do, but also don’t want the particulars splashed around and most of their partners have that understanding.

If they are polyamorous, I do not believe this is considered an ‘affair’.....

My first thought immediately. I used to teach lessons and no way in hell was anyone ever getting on a horse in one of my classes without a helmet.

In case it matters to anyone, the breed is actually spelled “Friesian” (not “Freesian”) - part of my family’s ethnic heritage is Dutch, specifically the Friesland province, which combined with the fact that I was also a horse girl in middle school is why I know this.

I know it’s not as common in Western riding, but I really wish they were wearing helmets. The kid in particular. Both for safety and to set an example, given the obscene reach of KK’s influence.

My husband and I met in Yellowstone NP. When we wanted to leave the park, we really wanted to move to Jackson, WY. Unfortunately it is obscenely expensive and we couldn’t make it work on our hospitality industry incomes. I’ve had job offers out there since with subsidized housing and still couldn’t make the math work…

funny?  it was more scary for the activists.  Yeah the activists were making some noise and letting their presence be heard but I’ve read nothing about any threats, destruction, or harm caused to person/property but Bunny & Claude sure went all gangster with the threats.  Ugh, these two ... why? 

I strongly believe if you decorate your house like this you should be required to dress in period clothing and eat period-appropriate food 24/7. I think all the corsets and lice will really give the owners an authentic air.
