2) Obviously Netflix would lie in an effort to make their original programming seem more enticing than that of its competitors, because they don’t actually have everyone’s money and may lose customers in 2020 due to the increasing competition.

Now playing

The closest thing to Zelda Maker would be the fan game Super Mario Bros X, which features Zelda II Link as a playable character alongside Mario/Luigi/Toad/Peach, along with an open-source campaign editor which has been used to build a standalone Zelda campaign:

Check out Chronicles of Teddy; it’s basically a love letter to Zelda II with a smoother learning curve and Ocarina-esque music mechanics. Faeland (WIP) is also looking very II-inspired.

Eh, the double-jump is just a really lazy method to allow the player to control jump height, and there are many other ways to do it that will allow the player to reach higher areas without also taking out all the execution skill in jumping.

It almost makes you wish they had Pokemoned out Halo 2 into two games; one being Master Cheif’s campaign, and one being Arbiter’s. Then they could avoid the “fuck why am I playing as this Laguna guy?” feeling where you’re constantly getting ripped out of one or the other character’s story.

Well, let’s not forget that 343 just announced Halo Infinite after a 4 year gap since Halo 5. Meanwhile, interest in the series had done this:

That is a fucking genius idea, I will be disappointed when they don’t do it.

I saw in the shot of Sonic in Green Hill Zone and thought “I want to see that movie, instead of the one shown in the rest of the trailer”.

Counterpoint: standing up before the door opens doesn’t give you a 2 minute advantage, because the door is shut and you can’t go anywhere.

Arguably Microsoft and Nintendo are shitting the bed almost every generation due to essentially being one-trick ponies:

“Don’t people in Hong Kong have phones?”

Overwatch League literally had the hosts wearing pro-LGBT outfits during pride week and brought on Symmetra’s VA to talk about women in the game industry on international women’s day.

...also I forgot to mention this earlier, but in some cases merely turning on v-sync fixes a lot of performance problems. I don’t normally use v-sync, but in BL3 it severely reduced my frequency of random frame-drops and added about 10 FPS to my average.

Yeah, it’s kind of bizarre, because it shouldn’t be that difficult to balance the stats of each gun around a specific baseline which is then multiplied by the recommended XP level of the mission.

According to RPS, the FPS drops are mostly due to a bug with texture streaming, and a fix for that is in this patch:

This was my thought, though honestly, Borderlands’ approach to active abilities has aged pretty badly, so Zane is merely the worst example of a pervasive problem.

unlike you who were making claims as to its purpose based on your own personal views.

So I suppose you speak for the creators of the game now in what the specific purpose of the remake is?

Your expectation that the remake should slavishly reproduce the rushed ‘97 translation is hilarious. Do you also expect them to reproduce “this guy are sick” are all the other nonsensical engrish, out of fear of “confusing” players of the 97 English version?

Honestly the voice direction for ALL characters can be currently summed up as “yelling inexplicably because no one told them the context of the line as they’re reading it off the cue sheet”, which I guess is ok for a hastly-produced trailer, but if the finished game actually sounds like that, I’d find it hard to
