Judging by your QC video, you never learned Quake movement. People on the official forums are tearing up your article right now, because it seems you are criticizing the game without knowing “the first thing” about it.

I think this kind of behavior is just really intrinsic to fandom and convention culture.
Personally I find Paladins to be a lot more fun.
Yeah, I actually think Megaman could work a movement-based FPS, but the projectiles should absolutely not be generic hitscan machinegun bullets, nor generic military rocket-propelled grenades.
I used to be the one person throughout my teens and twenties who refused to let others’ habit of yelling “faggot” or “fag” rub off on me. Then somehow in my early 30's, all the hours being stuck in traffic eventually broke me down, and I’ve found myself occasionally calling bad drivers “fags” out loud. Even though no…
It’s great that someone is proving that this kind of thing can work. A lot of times we see a black cosplay of a pale-skinned character that didn’t quite work, and assume that a race-swap like that can’t work, when maybe it just takes a bit of additional character design finesse that not all cosplayers have.
You sound like you wear dad jeans:
You’re confusing a lot of seperate factors together:
Wait, that was real? I assumed Sexual Assault Awareness Month was an April Fools joke. I mean either way, it effectively becomes a joke when you revoke protections against sexual assault in the same stroke as announcing an awareness month for it.
It’s a matter of production value. The first three ME games were high production value for the era, and Bioware promised Andromeda would be “bigger and better” reflecting the fact that people expect even higher production values 5 years later...and yet the production values of Andromeda feel lower overall.
I’m still waiting for the Castlevania netflix show to be outed as an April fools joke.
It seems painfully obvious at this point that maybe Reinhardt is the fucking problem. Why would you try to fix a stale character by trying to create a second stale character? Why not just make the existing stale character less stale?
Aim assist, easy spray kills, and large sniper hitboxes don’t add skills to the game; if anything they allow you to get by when your skill in other areas fails, which puts less focus on those skills.
Dude, if pandering to the masses automatically made everything better, Halo 4 and Doom 2016 wouldn’t have had stillborn multiplayer communities.
I’m just surprised you don’t rate it at the top, considering it was the first game to actually address the stupidity of the BR (I realize it had other issues).
I’m a little underwhelmed by the bonus stage. Sonic and Tails are riding Yoshi, who in turn is riding a plane (who the fuck is piloting???), by standing on the wings...and they’re all looking backwards and to the side instead of in the direction the plane is flying? It’s all really convoluted.
But actually you have to rely way less on movement, positioning, melee, or grenades, when you can just mindlessly spray BR bursts in the general direction of the enemy and get free headshot kills.
But the DMR wasn’t even in Halo 2 or 3, which makes them highly spray and pray overall, and the aim assist in those games was huge even just compared to Halo 1. Truth is the franchise had severe flaws even when Bungie was doing it.
Really wish one of these chip brands would get real and just call it “Piss & Vinegar”.
As someone who hasn’t played it yet, the apparent sammeyness of the moblin/bokoblin/gopkobmobfuclin encounters has been a huge turn off. Every time I see a clip of the game somewhere, Link is just fighting more of the same 3 guys. The whole game just looks like a loop of wandering aimlessly, breaking your weapon…
