Ultimately you can’t balance Bastion’s minigun in a way that people will enjoy, because it’s just too mindless. Sitting in one place spewing that many bullets with no regard to burst timing or recoil is simply not fun for the player, let alone for victims.

Yes, there is execution in taking advantage of Danger Time, but it still amounts to a big combo opportunity based on a dice roll. If parrying were only allowed during a randomly-occurring window in SF3, it would be just as bad.
