My keyboard is tremendous, let me tell you. I have all the keys, I have the best keys...

If you think your manhood is dieing because of Hillary and you need Trump to stand up for you, you’re the one whose vag is hurting.

THIS. IS EXACTLY WHY IT’S A STUPID QUESTION.

To me it bears pointing out that in other areas of [western] nerd culture, we have plenty of examples of fan service being handled in such a way that it doesn’t drag the entire show down in such a shitty way. For example, Game of Thrones has gratuitous sex and nudity, and it does get a bit silly at times, but for the

The “statute of limitations” excuse might carry more weight if they weren’t also dredging up Bill’s mistakes from 20 years ago (and blaming them on Hillary, no less).

I payed ~$20 for Rayman Legends ON STEAM when it first released, but because Uplay is required regardless of where you purchased it, within a year I was locked out due to a known, unsolved sign-in bug with Uplay. I filed a ticket with Uplay support and they were no help. Basically I just lost my purchase due to

I feel like in the first debate, Hillary did a decent job of shooting down a lot of his BS with facts. But Sunday it felt like she got too distracted trying to defend against every subjective ad hom attack instead of sticking to the issues and having facts prepared to counter every BS point he tried to make.

re: “them Mexicans” - If last night is any indication, the new politically-correct way to refer to them in Trump-ruled Republicanland is to do it twice at a time whenever they are mentioned; “latinos, the hispanics” as if it needs clarification.

Totally agree. I spent so much time in Borderlands wishing my group had an actual reason to use teamwork to survive instead of sorting through shitty loot drops until we found the gear that would let us mindlessly coast through the next 10 missions, rinse repeat.

I still really hate the 2016 cyberdemon. Most of the other redesigns were pretty great, but that one looks like a GOW locust with rabbit ears. Fuck that.

Sure, but the first dual analogs were available for PS1 within a year of the N64's release. Since the PS1 (like the N64) only included 1 controller, you were probably going to need to buy additional controllers anyway, so getting the dual analogs while you were at it was not such a big deal.

Also, there are boat-loads of wireless controllers you can run with Retroarch on PC so cord length is never an issue.

Yeah, emulators like Retroarch do a much better job at either providing smooth modernized visuals or authentic CRT emulation. The best part is you can always toggle between different filters depending on what you’re in the mood for. Even a lot of the 3rd party multi-consoles are supporting these shaders now.

As interesting as these neural network AI projects are, I think the most important, challenging, and interesting trait for in-game AI is the replication of natural human mistakes rather than the ommision of said mistakes.

Definitely agree, 2D graphics simply age better than 3D.

re: 3D fighters, I agree that today there’s really no point in playing Tekken 3, Virtua Fighter 2, or Soul Edge when you could play Tekken 5, VF4 Evo, or Soul Calibur Instead.

Try:

Mega Man X4
Final Fantasy Tactics
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Castlevania: SOTN and Chronicles
Puzzle Fighter
Alundra 1
Intelligent Qube
Tomba 1

Plus, while SM64 and Ocarina may have been pioneering first attempts to translate platforming and adventure game concepts from 2D and 3D, they lost a lot of the speed and challenge that made their predecessors exciting and engaging. Because of these games, the “adventure” genre became synonymous with “collectathon”
