Oh no. I know my fair share of racist liberals too.

I'm guessing the oldest daughter was sexually abused and is acting out because of it. Recall that she drew the sexually explicit pictures in school. She also arranged her dolls in the same arrangement that as Cohle's beercan people. I've got my money on Marty being the one complicit with the cult since he has all

I was surprised that a really cool woman like her character would be turned on by a smug preppy asshole like his character.

"Ricky van Veen" sounds like a fake name either Fletch or Roger the Alien would use.

what does camilla do for a living? just curious because she is always at award shows and openings, is she a model?

Joan Rivers: fuck you.

I know, right? Why are people are always bringing up whether or not a show presents characters that half of the population can relate to? It's sooo distracting. It's almost like I don't have 10 million other shows that cater to my point of view that I could turn to! Women of color, men of color, LGBTQ assholes, always

What is this? What the hell is going on here?

Those pretty much are the options.

I think it def was the unreliable narrator/ugly truth contrast. But I think it was also more of a "when revenge and fantasy collide" in a horror filled world and less one or the other.

I agree that this is, in large part, a show about misogyny, and what happens to men when, to paraphrase i09, they objectify and try to control women. It destroys them all. The depictions of women and men in the show absolutely support that theory.

I don't think it is about misogyny.

I like the show too.

Even if it's a show about misogyny, it sounds like they need to make their criticism more clear. We have to try and show some kind of consequence, whether legal or emotional or social. Something. Otherwise it just seems like good, deranged fun.

I have watched this three times.

I love anything set to Benny Hill. I'd laugh at a funeral set to Benny Hill.

I cannot stop laughing over this.

It's the music video curse!!! Why aren't more people concerned about this very real entity?!? It took Ashlee Simpson and Ryan Cabrera from us!

Their sound is not '90s indie rock; it is solidly '80s Fleetwood Mac! This track in particular is the lost B-side to "Tango in the Night."

I totally agree. I didn't take her statements to mean that she was speaking for anyone but herself. She wasn't telling anyone to suck it up or that they should be like her. And in my own experience, I had a lot of support too but I also understand what a mixed bag that can be (for my own different, personal
