I don’t even understand those tweets. Is he using @ to say those groups/people are invoking those names improperly?

I don’t know who either of these people are and this article makes no sense to me. And I’m more confused b/c I can’t tell if that makes me too old or too young. Let me take my black ass back to The Root, where at least I understand 75% of the pop culture references.
I would not put Cosby Show in that category. Claire was a lawyer working outside of the family, her and Cliff split family responsibilities, and Cliff never played the “why is the lady working” card, it was always portrayed as “Claire is a badass, and we are all proud!”
Can someone please post the “But her emails” meme, please.
Love Scarlet Pimpernel!
Thank you, and maybe I’ll see you at the Commission meetings!!
I’m not trying to “force your hand.” I am doing what is in my power to do: Post on comments. That is the only way to get our message out.
A real travesty would be doing an article AFTER this passes.... “LA voters reduced LAPD accountability and gave officers power to select own discipline.”
I promise I am not a bot. I am working with the 70+ progressive groups & individuals on the #NoOnC campaign to fight against a powerful union with whatever tools we have. And I love the Root.
I’m really sad that you would call this “spam” since it directly affects our community and we—unlike the Police Protective League—do not have almost a million dollars to spend on mailers to get the word out.
Please read and understand: this outrageous outburst by the teacher was precipitated by students LAUGHING in class. That is sufficient conduct for black people to be degraded.
This is why folks that are in Los Angeles need to get out and vote on May 16th NO on Charter Amendment C!!
Thank you! Any more questions? Keep ‘em coming.

This measure was strategically placed on the ballot on the LAST DAY possible to get onto the May 16th ballot—despite the police union working WITH the mayor and city council for over 2 years to craft this measure.

Okay I just started tying to grow herbs again in my backyard (in Los Angeles) and it’s been about 3 weeks and almost everything is doing well but I now have some pest taking bites out of my mint. There are little holes in the mint leaves. Everything else seems to be okay for now.
