I also think too many people conflate the movie and the show. The 6th season was over the top and it slowly devolved in relateability when it came to lifestyle, but the relationship/sex issues were relatable. Then the movies came out and now everyone can only think of Dubai and shit. I wish we could separate them

When I was 22, 23 especially, I said the stupidest fucking shit. Didn't you? Now my stupid shit was totally different from Dunham's financial/career choice stuff, but the boy issues are unfortunately similar. So, I guess, her actions in general are disgusting me familiar, but the content differs.

And that men are watching a show about women. Half the problem with Hollywood is that they don't think men will watch anything that isn't created for their white male gaze, so they only make women's, non-white entertainment as niche.

If you watched the whole episode, the character who got the HPV test panicked and cried and felt guilty and horrible. The girl who characterized it as "worldly" is supposed to be 21, super immature, and naive. The girl who was supposedly "worldly" because she had it puts on the air of being bohemian and a free

It's really, really accurate in some ways. Unfortunately. I went to a fancy liberal arts college as the token poor kid and a lot of my friends were floated by their parents, so that part rings true though the class issues are annoying. However, it wasn't always as entitled as it is on this show. If these girls are

It's really, really accurate. Unfortunately. I went to a fancy liberal arts college as the token poor kid and a lot of my friends were floated by their parents. However, it wasn't always as entitled as it is on this show. If these girls are 24, they graduate college in 2010. I was 09. THERE WERE NO JOBS. Most

Good point!

Of course older people comprise the viewership. Young people are poor and can't/won't pay for cable, dvr, hbo. We watch it illegally, yo. Also, for whatever reason, my experience suggests that young men are more likely to pay for fancy cable than women. Is that the case for anyone else?

Also, social class. Obesity is linked to poorer people, right? (Not all, but less knowledge about nutrition, less time to cook, less money to buy healthy food, less stigma that the educated class, etc puts people at risk for obesity.)

As a fatty McFat (and a formerly overweight child), I found your joke on the right side of good taste. I laughed.

Maybe we should send him pictures of vaginas.

I am sure they feel tons of guilt and shame everytime they enter a vagina...hence the fear.

I can't believe we bailed out these conservative motherfuckers. Sorry good Michiganders, I want you to fail now! (Of course, these are probably the same republicans who want to reduce taxes by cutting social services and I bet Michigan has one of the highest rates of people accessing these services)

Erm. That has a name already...smegma. Which captures its grossness already.

Tibia is too close to labia. EWWWWWWW

If you don't believe in feminism, Miss Unhappy.

Va-jay-jay?

When you read Literotica.com, it is really evident whether a man or a woman wrote the story. While many women fall into the romantic prince fantasy, men's stories more often fall into this bullshit pattern of women fawning over the male lead's love for cunnilingus and unselfish lovemaking and then the women lament

In my free time, I have been reading subreddits on dating/relationships/sex/okc. Yeah yeah. I'm stupid. All of the dudes there are constantly talking about how some woman they met from online was so fat in real life or how there are only fatties in their area, blah blah blah. It makes me so fucking self conscious.

Cafe culture blows. I am not paying Euro 5 for a latte.
