I don’t mind the CVT either. But the 2.5 could use some more power in the Outback and Forester. 

That sounds kind of like us, but we definitely have our common hobbies (luckily many of these are things we do while traveling, which is another common love). 

Yep, it’s about the same power-to-weight ratio as a Subaru Outback. It’s not gonna win a drag race, but it does its job just fine.

Funny, I was going to compare it to our ‘21 Outback, which is also somewhat slow.  This thing has a better power-to-weight ratio, so it can’t be that damn bad.

When did you start looking?  My wife and I picked one up in late April. We weren’t keen on the color (silver, we wanted green), but it was still a decent deal and it was physically present. One reason for purchasing it was a trip we’re taking soon, and we didn’t want to risk not having it.

I was getting gas last night when I heard a nice V8 accelerate quickly down the road...looked up, it was a newer Ram 1500. Obviously had an aftermarket exhaust of some sort, but man, did it sound great. I was impressed.

They should have tossed the Thunderbird Turbo Coupe’s 2.3L in there, that could have made for a fun car.
