There’s commuting, and then there’s commuting. Mine’s 25 miles one way, not too much traffic, not many stops. A manual is fine.

I wanted it to be cheap and to run. My Grandma’s ‘79 Pinto was both of those things.
Don’t forget the direct-to-VHS flick Slideshow. Totally fucking ruined now.
Only if it only has enough foot room for a leprechaun like the originals.
That’s fantastic - what a great buy. I love that color. Looking forward to more threads about it!
The Verdant Lady. It’s a cocktail made of gin and Chartreuse.
Same here. An Indian coworker turned me on to the magic of Dramamine - he’d been using it for flights to and from home for years. I’d never been able to sleep well on flights, but on our last trip, I got a good several hours’ worth.
Have you seen how much debt the average person racks up? Far too many people buy things they shouldn’t be buying, because like it or not, they can’t afford it. The question reeks of problems and potentially bad decisions.
Neutral - would be better if the fucking semiconductor shortage would GO AWAY. It’s been a constant supplier of extra work since I first got wind of it last December.
Why wasn’t the Hodge Slideshow V2-12 listed? It’s reliably annoying, very scalable (anywhere from 2-12 slides), powers anything from motorcycles to agricultural equipment, and can take any article from 0-3589723 clicks in 2.4 sec. Huge miss IMO.
Because for normal people, “more than I wanna pay” = “I don’t have that amount of money to spend on a car payment every month” = “I can’t afford it.”
Don’t worry, she’ll get another lease before that one’s up, too. I guess leasing makes sense if you want to drive new cars for life, but I don’t get it.
You’re missing the point - it might be used on another product that uses that exact same assembly. Sure, it’s an extra light on the ‘Vette, but that’s cheaper and easier than making a new part number just for the one lacking a single light.
Unless someone knows what ECM version was on a truck, that’s an odd way to describe them...2013-18 makes more sense. We’re not talking E30, XJ, C8 level model designation codes here. And BTW, front-geartrain engines used the 2100 & 2200, the 2150 and 2250 were only RGT.
Why are you referring to these by the engine control module code? Plus, the 2350B’s Chrysler-specific, the rear-geartrain ISBs (along with nearly every other Cummins engine) mentioned had the 2350A. Both have been mostly replaced by the 2450A/B at this point.
It’s bizarro world! I don’t blame him, assuming he’s not walking 10 miles each way to work now.
Agreed. Seems like a lot of money for a 19 y.o.’s car.
That’s the kind of person who went into the dealer for an oil change and drove away with a brand new car.
Where was Wolfe while Fritz was getting drunk?
Don’t they? I always wanted to lower mine and throw AR Torq Thrusts on it, but the body rusted away and I had to ditch it. Mine had the same wheel covers as the other one I posted.
