Which Lode Runner was it that came out on Windows around 1994-95, published by Sierra? That's the one I remember playing the most... I'd invite my friend over and we'd take turns leaving the room while the other spent a good 10-15 mins designing a quick malicious level, then usher them back in to play it. Good times.

Damn, I'm excited. Missed out on this one last gen and haven't had the time or gumption to go back and check it out. It looks like one that'll actually get played rather than sit on the shelf, which happens far too often than I'd like with my gaming habits these days.

I've been thinking about dipping my toes back into the MMO scene again lately, but I just can't settle on a decision which one.... I'm definately done with WoW, had my share of raiding endgame for months only for xpacs to drop and start the grind over again, wouldn't mind something a little off the norm. Tera Online

Sounds like some easy fixes so far. We definately need bottomless pits, though, I kind of cringed when I heard his very apt description of "throwing action figures against eachother in a cardboard box". That is exactly what Smash Bros would feel like w/o bottomless pits.

Now playing

Not quite; but at least kinda fits the first 3 words of your diatribe there.

The only way not to have some sort of fan would be compressor-cooled/anti-freeze setups. But even then, the compressor makes noise.

Well , if they are literally the only 3 fans in the case, it'll still be pretty stealthy, mind you he probably has at least one for front intake. Even still, though, use some noctua nf-p12s and you could be under 30db total across the whole case. That's friggin quiet.

This game looks fantastic. I don't know if I'm the only one, but I just get smitten by those DQ sound effects!

This is no news. To all the people who expected it to be done BEFORE it's done: You are crazy; or maybe just dreamers, in which case, I always have to applaud a dreamer. ^_^

The sound design in The Lost Town has a very distinct late-90's pre-3d PC-game vibe to it. It rubs me the right way ^_^.

Well they already have multiple emulators for SNES, NES, GBA/GBC, N64, Genesis, and PSX running on Android, so I think your in luck. ^_^ They generally run pretty well too.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they spike to around 12-13 mil when a new expac releases; it's happened 3 times. (Well to be honest I'm not sure they were upwards of the 10 mil mark back when BC came out, but they would have still spiked up a couple million at the release).

I'd have backed them already, if I didn't have to front an extra 20 bucks cuz I live in Canada... makes more sense for me to wait for it to release and buy it for $99.

One of those anime's where it's good till you reach the 150th=200th episodes; a huge batch of filler; and realize that the creators plan to milk the damn thing as long as they can. I prefer anime that has a full story-arc, start-finish. Not a series that I'll be mindlessly watching until it's canceled.

But the sound effect he uses to "engage"/"disengage" said slo-mo is absolutely brilliant! Not to credit Snyder himself; but he had an awfully good sound-effect team.

40 bucks for a 16gb usb flash drive is hardly outrageous; sure it's not quite electronics wholesale pricing, but if you were to ever have to pop by a shoppers drugmart or radioshack needing a flashdrive in a pinch, your going to pay 25 bucks for an 8gb, 20 if you buy the cheap brand.

The "MOBO" is about the only thing that doesn't update automatically dude.... an average user would never attempt to flash his/her motherboard with a new bios.

Well, see, the thing is; those games will come from the most passionate indie devs. We will see developers finally being able to make a game with a TV and controller in mind; not a smartphone, and the hardware is easily capable of PS3/360 level visuals, maybe more once the devs get a handle on it. They will be able to

Did I hear him say he was checking him over for "bites"? .... I didn't know this was another zombie game...

All this aside, I'm willing to bet that, had they priced it at $1, they would have gotten more than 15x the sales. Hell it might even out sell angry birds. Based on that assumption, they probably would have profited alot more across the board had the priced it at a buck.
