No, not really.
No, not really.
I had never seen that play before I watched this video. I had to rplay it 4 times to make sure I was understanding what I saw. Amaz-zuh-zing.
Iowa is weird.
5 different teams represented. In a state with no team.
The NFC north teams make perfect sense, but the damn cowboys won five counties? The cowboys are awful. Who are these people.
(Granted, it's Iowa. Some of these counties have like 17 residents... but still)
The McNown thing kills me. He had a couple nice games against defenses with the distinction of being even worse than out defense last year and suddenly he is the answer.
And he had a couple other mediocre games where he was unable be the difference maker.
He is a lifelong backup for a reason.
Jesus, let it go.
Yeah. Goodell would tell them: "look this wouldn't be such a big deal if this was elevator footage of beating your wife. But a DOG? That's inhumane."
Baez has struggled at virtually every level when first promoted. He takes a month or two to acclimate, then improves dramatically.
He was, essentially, brought up to the show to suck... at least this year.
I think the front office is hoping he can get all the sucking out of his system in 2014 and maybe in 2015 produce…
Honestly, Devin Hester alone has a dozen plays better than this header.
It was an awesome play, no doubt, but please.
ALL DAY
here ya go!
And the context of this play makes it 500x more amazing.
This is going to destroy their tourist-murdering industry.
While I disagree with the article on a few points, this is till fifty times better than the scene from Louie.
It certainly isn't the first time the dating world has been presented as "guys don't have these problems."
I like thatthis map shows the absurd gerrymandering of Chicago.
God, I could have given him the benefit of the doubt if he had said "hey, in the NFL we only have 16 games and QBs are the most important player on a team. Missing a game could ruin a season for the 60+ people on my team and millions of fans, I'd have to miss it if she gave birth on Sunday"
It wouldn't make him father…
Honestly, it's kind of silly to say that he's being mistreated when he's getting cut by a coach that has had TONS of players with questionable backgrounds and troubled upbringings. The eagles front office and coaching staff knows what they do and don't have in Desean Jackson better than anyone.
No one has DONE anything…
While I completely agree with all of your points, it's still just a bit more involved that all of that.
He's a guy with known gang affiliations during a time when owners are freaked out, sure, that's bad.
But to be that guy AND be known as a poor teammate, who misses meetings, acts selfishly, and routinely does dumb…
In all likelihood, he didn't save his friend's life in any way, shape, or form. Dude was unconscious. Nothing you can really do about unconsciousness itself.
Lt the medics immobilize him to prevent further injury, and IF he did stop breathing, they can help that without shoving and gross dirty fingers down his throat.
While I agree with most all of the other comments about just how huge 6-7 wins really is, and how talented a replacement player actually is, one last thing to note when you think that Miggy SEEMS like he is worth much more than 6 or 7 wins is that WAR takes everything into account. Including defense.
Not pertinent to the argument. He was 29 when signed. Plus, the advanced metrics show that his season wasn't nearly as bad as first glance. He had an extremely unlucky year.
