The director is from Armored Core, which has always had mechs being carried in on helicopters (“Ravens”). It will probably be some mix of AC gameplay and FM story.

It was being called a “Front Mission Reboot” back in 2015. My guess is they want to restart the IP with a new story from scratch, and they’re just leaving the “Front Mission” part off the title.

Nabeshima knows the value of a good trailer to sell a game, this is what he put out in 2012:

Front mission “spiritual successor”. Might be set in the same universe but not related to the story.

It’s a Front Mission spiritual successor being directed by the ex-Armored Core director after he quit From, with the Gundam 00 and GitS mech designer, and Metal Gear Solid character designer.

Armored Core V was actually announced way back in 2009 with an original release date for 2010, but Bandai Namco delayed it for 2 years to make more dark souls games. It then cropped back up later in 2011. AC4 had at least rumors and a trailer (“Project Force”) before it’s official announcement too. Even Dark Souls

More updates from the Greys:

Front Mission died because top-down turn based games died. Front Mission evolved is an attempt at copying Armored Core, and it looks like now they’ve finished the transition fully.

Armored Core mechs were transported the same way, and the mech on the helicopter looks a lot closer to something from AC than FM. Nabeshima is the producer/director behind AC since 1997, so it’s more likely this new title will borrow more from that than Front Mission, at least visually. Nabehsima isn’t just a fan,

If you bring me out of the grey’s, you can share this:

Hidetaka Miyazaki said they were working on a new armored core game, but that was nearly a year ago (sept. 20th 2016) and they have had NO news since, on anything. That’s worrying.

It’s a Mech game. Toshifumi was originally supposed to work on Front Mission, so this looks like a new replacement for that.

This article missed a lot. That’s not futuristic Aircraft, that’s a humanoid mech being carried in for deployment on a helicopter, just like Armored Core. This is a mech game.

In those situations usually they’re shipping the CPU with a lower quality cooler. You can’t call AMD and have them upgrade your FX-6300 to an FX-6350 by issuing commands to it over the phone, they would need to ship you a new cooler to install and then they could overclock it to the higher specs.

The reason it feels bad is because the cost to manufacture the car is the same, therefore all the pricing structure does is allow the 75 kwh drivers to subsidize the lower prices of the 60 kwh drivers. It’s just like people who pay for fast internet are subsidizing the cost for people who only want the basic

What would you think if your conservative friend came to you and started giving you “reasons and logic” why climate change doesn’t exist, using politicians that agree with them as evidence?

It depends on whether or not taking the Elio brand, their IP, their debt, and their staff is worth it. Elio might have dug itself into a hole deep enough that it would be cheaper to start from scratch than to put the same money toward “saving” it.

It’s a classic adverse selection problem. The groups with the greatest burden for health problems (low income people with less job security) are the group most incentivized to eat unhealthy food. The correct response is a consumption tax on saturated fat, preservatives, and other food processing methods, to balance
