The game might be good, but at least the trailer feels so super-random. It doesn’t seem to really connect with the larger Marvel mythos, instead it is this new character facing of another new character flanked by a really random collection of Marvel heroes.

At least a few could stand to sink some XP into actual, real-life character development.

This is the same idiotic bullshit that happened with The Last of Us 2. Do these people think the actors improvise the story and the game developers work around that?

This whole thing reminds me of that episode of Friends where Brooke Shields’ character was convinced that Joey really was Dr. Drake Ramoray.  People are dumb.

This is the dumbest discourse. The concept of villains in fiction shouldn’t be “cancelled.” Just because someone voices a villainous character, it doesn’t mean they condone their villainous actions.

It’s a bit anti-competitive. The times increasing are what push competitors to clean up their runs and try new strategies. Might have damaged the meta by withholding info - speedrunning tends to be a very open and collaborative community. I understand why people felt kind of betrayed.

Yeah, that’s never actually been a thing. It’s a lovely lie they can tell to defend their paycheck.

Well cool, thanks for squashing the image Kinja.

I mean, a lot of these shows are about young people overcoming great odds through feats of athleticism and skill, which was gained through grueling training and hard work. It makes sense!

The type of toxic asshole who makes up the GQP is unwilling to take responsibility for anything other than to take credit for the good shit other people did. They are incapable of doing anything that benefits other people and are so fucking stupid that they can’t do shit that actually benefits themselves at this point.

I gotta admit, it was a good plan save for one detail: we don't live in an anime.

This is why our economic system is so destructive. Perpetual growth is not a realistic or feasible idea, so making that the main factor that causes stock prices to go up was bound to lead to things like this.

Yep, basically. There were lots of folks who were more than willing to hop up there and “network”. It was all just trashy and gross. I worked a couple Blizzcons and attended a few when I worked there. I never went up there, I knew exactly what was going on there, lots of us did (I had an older brother I had to constant

Unionize, strike, unite, make it industry standards of working so none of this power of abuse happens and the workers can organize and fight back again sexual assault and death from their shackles of oppression.

“To this end, we propose that Activision Blizzard, Ubisoft, and other industry-leading publishers and developers collaborate and agree to a set of rules and processes for handling reports of these offenses.”

The Renegade approach is universally Evil- selfish, unsympathetic and careless- and almost always results in poor outcomes.

It’s so weird to me that, in a lot of aspects of pop culture/culture, people refer to 2010/the late 2000s as if they’re this long-ago era where we didn’t know better. Dude, if you’re not a child, this wasn’t that long ago. I don’t even think the initial catalog joke was that bad, it was just made exponentially worse

Absolutely. I mean, everything about The New War looks AMAZING. I’m not surprised that cross play and cross save got that kind of response, though.

Yeah, that works
