Thing is, people are entitled to their opinion. They’re not entitled to that opinion being respected or considered valid unless they’re speaking from a position of authority on the subject, whether through experience or learning or whatever.

Which is awful. You barely get any time to play, and if on the receiving end of a face aggro with a strong starting hand, you don’t get to do much of anything before you’re dead.

This is very true. While I think Voidlord is a bit too extreme, I much, much prefer a control meta to a “did you draw all the necessary playable answers by turn 4? If not, you’re dead” aggro meta. Extreme control decks are a pain, but they’re nothing compared to the absolute cancer which is unchecked aggro.

I’ll be honest. I’ve barely played any God of War. I don’t own a PS4, the last Sony console I owned was a second-hand PS2. I tried a bit of the first God of War and found it severely lacking when compared to the other action game I’d played, Devil May Cry. I passed on the mindless brutality and titillation of the

Look, I know people like to blame Ben Brode for a lot of the RNG problems Hearthstone has had over the years, but let’s be honest: this is one of the worst things that could possible happen. What are we going to do without that glorious Brode laugh?!

A false police report resulting in death is basically murder. We need to treat it as such.

How much do we want to bet this guy was drunk at the time?

How about this for a blast from the past: Extreme Candy War.

That’s a good point. Might need to add Saronite Chain Gang to the combo in order to make that work.

Have either one on the board, play Grumble. Next turn, insanity ensues. And, presumably, every turn after that, since the Grumble effect will be added to the list, so a 1 mana Shudderwock will end up back in your hand every time.

Honestly, a big part of the fun of Starcraft has been the goofy LAN parties and big team matches with crazy stuff happening. Super competitive laddering and pro tournaments is certainly important and makes for some great moments, but there’s so much more to those games that people can enjoy. If they really want to

That last one’s basically universal. I had a HotS match the other day where our healer would “gg” every time we lost a teamfight or lost an objective.

To be honest, I’ve never had a big problem with Ice Block; once you figured out it was a thing, it was pretty easy to figure out how to get the Mage’s health to as close to 1 as possible, pop it, then make sure you were holding on to some form of direct damage when the Mage cleared your board the next turn, assuming

Yes, it is literally a worse Charge, but then that’s because Charge is so game-breaking that they’ve been steadily trying to dial back on it for years. There are so many OTK Charge combos that have reared their ugly heads and subsequently been nerfed that it’s frankly no surprise they started adding qualifiers to

Something that Overwatch has clearly demonstrated, and which content creators of all kinds (games, movies, books, etc) should bear in mind, is that shippers will inevitably ship anyone with anyone for any reason.

I think that’s supposed to be some kind of smoke or steam.

No, that’s what I was talking about, they are designed around trying out different builds and strategies, but they, through design oversight or overestimating the existing build or whatever, don’t always include the necessary tools to make all those builds work, or at least work well enough to be an interesting

This is a very natural pattern to fall into. Often, the straight-forward solution just feels most comfortable to us.
