This time, it’ll be different. Specifically, I will publicly release my proposal to restore Internet freedom tomorrow—more than three weeks before the Commission’s December 14 vote.

And this is why you shouldn’t BM. Just don’t. Play smart, play respectful, win. Pretty simple.

The main problem with world PvP, from what I’ve seen, is not the lack of players willing to go out and do some ganking, but the lack of players willing to go out and stop that ganking. So many times I’ve been leveling an alt and the region chat will be awash with alerts that the local low-level town is under attack

Missing the point pretty hard on this one.

Hopefully, they’ll give those three and others like them who operate by wearing towers down with some anti-structure buffs, such as giving Xul’s minions reduced damage taken from structures.

Haha I was commenting less on the cost and more on the delightful absurdity of the whole thing. A big figurine display to celebrate the expansion? Cool. Making them all player characters from the game? Pretty brilliant. Making them all the characters of the people attending the convention? Absolutely nuts.

Good god Blizzard, you magnificent bastards, only you would do something like this.

Several previous expansions offered “Adventures”, single-player raids of a sort where you fight a series of bosses with unique cards and abilities to use against you. They are honestly where Hearthstone shines, presenting you with scenarios you wouldn’t find in normal gameplay and challenging puzzles to figure out.

It’s funny, I actually like Solas. Yeah, he’s definitely an elitist ass, but talk to him enough and you sort of start to understand where he’s coming from. He’s so far outside of our social norms, and his perspective on reality so different from ours, that you realize he’s less of an asshole and more of an alien

I mean, I can kind of understand the idea of giving Kubrows the “virtual pet” feel of having to take care of them and play with them, etc etc, but it ends up being a lot of work for a weaker, less useful and less consistent version of a little robot you can just attach to your shoulder and forget about.

It’s just a shame the pets aren’t as useful as the floating shoulder drones. Granted, I’m perfectly okay with having a floating shoulder drone that blasts people with a shotgun or gatling gun, but I know a lot of people who swear by Kubrows and they get really depressed by all the utility the Sentinels bring over the

Yes, it should have been just another expansion. They tossed out way too much existing content and features for fairly little in return. Much of what Destiny 2 does right was already being done right in Taken King. What should have been a drastic evolution of the formula was instead just a reset to vanilla Destiny 1.

Can we please just treat each other as people, with respect for their boundaries and rights? Is that so hard to ask? Is it really so complicated?

Manly Guys isn’t complete without the comic title from the website: “You’re one to talk, Widow”.

Budokai 3 has definitely been my favorite out of all the DBZ games. The story mode was fun, character customization was excellent, but probably the high point for me was the fact that my friends and I would all play it together and set up tournaments against each other; with so many playable characters, everyone was

I think it’s largely because the hidden lore bits in Destiny really only exist in the lore and you don’t see much connection to it within the actual game. A lot of the politics between the City’s factions only ever existed within the lore bits; in-game, all they ever did was stand around and hand out gear. This was

Spirits Within was so disappointing. I was so pumped to see it when it first came out, and it looked amazing, but then the actual plot turned out to be a boring and nonsensical mess.

Touch controls definitely haven’t progressed to the point where they have the same responsiveness and reliability of physical buttons. Motion controls maybe, but touchscreens are still too finicky.
