In RPGs like this, I’ll often make a main character to level with a friend and then an alt to level solo and pick up on any plot/lore/atmospheric moments I might have missed the first time because of the faster pace of a group.

Diablo 3 is actually best experienced as a solo experience first, or co-op with some like-minded, patient individuals, so that you have time to stop and listen to lore entries or explore the nooks and crannies of maps for secrets, events and side-dungeons. Flying solo also brings the benefit of Followers, who beyond

Yeah, I’m super psyched. Based on their description of him, it looks like he’s going to be really novel, can be specced as a straight siege/minions specialist or as a debuffer through his melee attaks, notably one talent that lets him weaken healing on his target.

You should feel very proud of this article. First, because just seeing it in the news feed prompted me to boot up Netflix myself and find it, having previously heard amazing things about the movie but never the opportunity to see it for myself. And second, because after having watched the movie, I came back to read

In Trials, at least. Tried it a few times, got obliterated by sniper rifles at every turn, never went back.

How about your claim that gear scales as you level, allowing you to pick up a single weapon at “the start of the game” and then never swap it out? Was my saying that’s “completely untrue” not a meaningful-enough contradiction?

Man, you are just so dedicated to this whole “being blatantly wrong” schtick, aren’t you? If you’re going to come back with a sassy dismissal, maybe...I dunno...at least skim through the person’s response so you don’t come off as being completely ignorant?

Hate to break it to you, but there’s a lot of wrong in this post. You’re free to disparage certain design choices all you like (like the locations and class choices, though you drastically over-simplify the latter), but other claims are just blatantly inaccurate.

Katie really needs to work on providing some context to her jokes, but damn it if her art and the jokes themselves aren’t consistently hilarious.

Which is unfortunate, but fine; not everyone digs RTS. Hence why I said that they really should’ve marketed it as an RTS instead of surprising people with it. Blame EA for that one, Tim Schafer wanted the genre to be clear, but EA overruled him in the marketing.

Hahaha, it was actually a pretty damn good RTS once you figured it out! If anything, its biggest flaw was trying to market itself as an action game and springing the RTS-ness on people when they weren’t expecting it.

Hell, I only had a passing interest in heavy metal when I first played Brutal Legend and I found it to be amazing. Incredibly imaginative, loads of depth in its design and backstory, solid humor in the writing and a ton of fun. I really wish it had been recieved better when it first came out and/or that they’d decide

So, wait, are they only using characters from FE1 and Awakenings?

Cryssalid s are back, more powerful, and with what looks like multiple variations.

The main difference comes in the fact that Bioshock 1 and 2 were more dungeon crawlers and Infinite was much more of a linear, narrative-driven experience. They both have their strong points (though Infinite’s story got kind of convoluted at times) but they appeal to different audiences.

Check out Trump on Youtube; though he isn’t the most eloquent speaker, he’s notable for vocalizing his thought process during matches, explaining why he made certain plays and what his options were, and in general providing a learning experience whenever possible. He did a series of videos in particular going over the

The game already has a 7 cost 7/7 in the form of War Golem. As you mentioned, Dr. Boom’s problem isn’t so much his stats as the fact he comes packaged with those Boombots, which cause all sorts of unpredictable havoc.

Perhaps not, but getting the four actions down starts them off on the right foot. Seriously, feel free to copy/paste this little guide and see if it doesn’t help the next time you (or anyone else reading this) has to introduce someone to the game:

Well, except:

I really hope they’re not serious with this. Not only does the game tell you what to do on the loading screen, but there’ll usually be some sort of instruction spelled out in the bottom right corner (and verbally by the map’s announcer) whenever an objective does come up.
