NFL security requested that state police bring the balls to the stadium? And they did? Great use of taxpayer money.
Theory: Peyton Manning was using HGH to avoid the NFL’s concussion protocol by attempting to grow a new head.
The NFL tests for marijuana, so instead of inhaling smoke or vapor from a plant, guys choose to put this chemical nightmare into their bodies. Drug policy across the board is broken and incentivizes behavior that leads to awful shit like this.
But enough about what Big Ben likes to get up to in public restrooms, how’s he gonna get ready for the game?
Damn, imagine how severe it would have been if Roger had seen the video.
+1 Wounded Knee
How stupid is Kupchak?
No of course not, no one lives in STL we all live outside of it. The City is for work and Nightlife. But we support it and or teams.
No, it is it’s own, new frame. In fact the factory is careful to not say it is a direct replacement. Rather, they say the LR2 “ran its course” and the new Discovery Sport will stand on its own.
That’s fucking nonsense. Cleveland has a smaller greater metro than St. Louis, and just as economically distressed, yet somehow supports an MLB, NBA, and NFL franchise. Because the money isn’t in the metro itself, it’s in the TV deals and primetime. If there IS one US city that can’t support an NFL team, it’s Los…
I feel your pain, it’s the same deal with the Detroit metro area. City has issues but metro area has some of the wealthiest zip codes in the nation.
Browns.
Yes it is more expensive to attend games now, and there is more competition for viewer attention. Fact is LA didn’t embrace football that much for the Rams or Raiders, and it likely won’t this time. It’s a bad gamble for teams that are loved by their home city.
Also, he bought the team for $750 million in 2010. and it is valued at $1.45 billion. He nearly doubled his value in 5 years, and the team has not even been good!
Right. There are like 300k people that live in the city and around 2.5M - 2.8M that live in the metropolitan area. They’re right, the CITY has no economic growth, but that’s not the fan base anyway.
That’s the bullshit part of the argument. Few, if any, cities could support a team with only residents of the city-proper. St. Louis city is losing residents, but the metropolitan area can obviously support a team. Neither the Blues or the Cardinals would exist if you had to show a driver’s license proving city…
LOL
As someone who got sober with those exact programs, after failing in 12 steps, I call un-bullshit. Well said, and very true for many people.
