How is this a "powerful CLI program"? It's just an interface for a couple of APIs. He wrote about 43 lines of code that just plug various inputs and outputs into each other. I do agree with your sentiment though.

It's 43 lines of code because it's literally just a simple interface for Microsoft and Google's APIs. He didn't really code anything a first year student couldn't have.

Well it's certainly feasible for the display controller to disable unused pixels if a lower resolution is set, it would be a fairly simple thing to implement in firmware. The only reason it doesn't exist is that most people would never use it, and it would be weird to market.

So creating panic and murder was in good taste pre-911?

Proxy, SSH tunnel, VPN.

In a nutshell, Apple devices tend to be easier to use, more reliable (software-wise), and I've really liked the design of a few of the recent devices. Due to the degree of which iOS is locked down and regulated by Apple, it's pretty rare to see any kind of software problem, aside from the occasional bug. Android on

This will not help for more than a minute or two unless the cold is sustained. As soon as the ice is removed, the bodies heat will slowly redistribute to the area until equilibrium is re-established. The same applies to hot drinks, though I've found that they actually have a positive effect of liquifying hardened

Brain freeze is the result of the rebound dilation of blood vessels after the cold causes constriction.

Believe it or not, your life is of little import to the dreaded big corporations. They have no personal interest in your shopping list or location. In this case, all they can possibly get via these methods are your location in the store, and browsing statistics. Newsflash: CCTV cameras have been doing this for ages. A

How is this an invasion of privacy? I mean seriously, who cares if the store gathers statistics about whether you're more interested in gardening over home renovation? That's information you'd likely give any stranger in passing conversation, hence, not private. And OMG! They're tracking you in the store itself!!111!

I was about to say exactly this. Yes gorging on extremely sugary foods can cause blood sugar spikes, but ordinarily meals are not incredibly loaded with sugar, or are combined with a decent amount of fiber or protein to slow digestion.

Under Windows, seperate threads are not treated like seperate processes; their max memory allocation is global for the process (which is hard limited at the architecture's limits, 32-bit vs 64-bit, and soft limited by the programmers selection of heap size at compilation).

There must be some flaw to those tests, as the only way more RAM could affect storage writes is through either:

This could be a double edged sword. On one hand you're right that dense underarm hair can make removal of sweat more difficult (without it, you just wipe a towel on the skin, whereas you generally have to rinse the hair to clean it), but on the other hand it does wick moisture off of the skin and potentially gives it

Yeah, I recommend these to everyone who's looking for new headphones. They have the best bang for the buck of any headphones on the market, and are especially notable for being very balanced. The bass is nice and snappy rather than boomy, the highs are warm, and the sound spacious. I also find that they isolate noise

As long as the Vitamin is from one of the bigger brands, usually the primary concern is not safety (assuming you follow the directions, as shelved vitamins are subjected to FDA regulations. There is a concern about possible long-term health issues associated with megadosing, but more on that later), but cost

I wouldn't say horrible, just boring. If you're still following the "rules" of color, worst case you just won't stand out.

As you said, the rules should be taken with a grain of salt. They are general guidelines to avoid sickening combinations, but they can often be bent to produce an interesting result.

Those damn suit-boners are always amusing to see xD Good tip

Wow, that's one weird men's suit :P Through some wizardry it's been tailored to give the most distinct bell-curve I've ever seen clothing pull off on a man. Decidedly feminine. There's nothing wrong with that, and actually it can look interesting and cool with casual clothing, but with a suit it makes you think "Did
