I really don't get the latest obsession with shrinking and making consoles more lightweight. Obviously you don't want a hulking monstrosity, but I'd say that the dimensions and weight of a console that is not supposed to be portable should be the last concern when developing newer versions.
Completely abandoning the clock seems like a futile attempt to hide from the stressors in one's life to me, it only gives a cheap illusion that they no longer exist.
They'll create fake productivity and give the illusion of reducing anxiety ;)
Why would you bother making a bluetooth speaker dock when that is just about the most common bluetooth device available, and making it yourself won't save any money?
I think I'll still with Chris in the Morning on KBHR :D
Most of the time DDoSing affects the server hosting the website, not the domain. In order to knock out a domain name, you'd have to target major DNS backbones, as there is no one "server" somewhere "hosting" your domain. You register a domain, and it proliferates to the tens of thousands of DNS servers run by ISPs…
Wow, they did, and Thorin wrote both articles. Classy :P
"I agree we can communicate it better (£49.99 equates to just £4.20/week[...]"
#1 seems like a lot of pointless work considering that most old records have already been remastered onto CDs commercially, and likely with much better hardware than the average person could afford, from high quality masters. Sure, it's worth it if the record was never re-released, but why bother remastering it…
There is no way you'll get anywhere near the focusing capability and detail using the built in macro feature. To each his own though, I guess :P
CSS and HTML are not executable languages. A process parses them and presents different outputs. They are basically equivalent to fancy text files, with a complicated structural syntax. They do not actually "do" anything. Yes, they result in the computer doing something, but they are purely descriptive (more akin to a…
I really wouldn't advise trying to learn to program starting with scripts. They are similar, but differ radically the more in-depth you get.
Surgery is an option if not using the CPAP is really that big of a deal. However, I'd recommend just sticking with the CPAP, as the sleep apnea corrective surgeries tend to be a hit or miss kind of thing, and may actually worsen your problem.
Believe it or not, but most cats are lactose intolerant. They just never associate the bellyache they likely get after drinking it with the milk itself, since as anyone lactose intolerant would know, it's never an instantaneous reaction.
I love how often you see Google being sued because a webpage on the internet made defamating comments about someone. Because as we all know, Google and the Internet are one and the same, amirite?
A lot of parents still think that vaccines can do things like give you autism or cancer, etc, etc, despite the fact that hundreds upon hundreds of studies have disproven the one or two fraudulent studies that started that fad.
As usual, Amazon's store is pointlessly skewed towards their US base, this code doesn't seem to work for Canada/perhaps other countries. Things like this and $20 to ship a paperback book to Canada is why I really hate using Amazon.
The rat study is stupid because the scientists directly injected a (relatively) HUGE quantity of HFCS into the brains of the test rats. That is pretty much the farthest you can get from normal consumption volume and method, and is meaningless as basis for comparison to human consumption of HFCS.
I'd be much more excited if Amazon was finally making a color E-Ink device :(
