Wolves rarely attack humans, they instinctively fear us. More likely they were disgusted by his choice of music.

I hate product names containing punctuation, especially exclamation marks. It's incredibly annoying to read a review for a product or company like FlipIt!, Yahoo!, etc when you have to do doubletakes to check if the sentence ended or not.
@JohnnyricoMC: That is a company name. They make about 100 different products, so simply saying Belkin doesn't tell us much.
Arghhh! I now have a phobia for mosquitoes.
@Zinger314: LOL
All I can say is he is not photo-friendly.
@RGLarson: It depends, when I was a kid, I thought I knew all about "hacking" because I could crack a wifi network, but I was not familiar with fundamentals of networks (i.e MAC addresses, ARP packets, etc). A lot of people that go into hacking just to pull some pranks on friends/mess around with their school's…
@phoenix: I'm kind of worried that I'd fall of of these if I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing, I think I might pass ;)
@TheFu: Well you've got your terms messed up, as WiFi Radio refers to WiFi itself. WiFi is a form of radio communication.
@TheFu: I think you main disable SSID broadcasting, not radio, since the disabling radio option on routers usually is so that you can disable the WiFi if you're only using ethernet (wired).
One thing to keep in mind is that some routers have the habit of accumulating devices that connected into the log file, and I've had 2 routers that neither periodically clear the log nor show timestamps for the last time the device connected. Also, don't even bother freaking out if a bunch of entries show up but your…

Incoming TL;DR post ;)
Not only do these "mini-steppers" look pretty easy to slip out of if you're not paying attention, they also are not nearly as effective exercise as a standard treadmill. With a treadmill, you're doing a full walking/running movement, which uses most of the muscles on the leg (especially if you use alternate between…
@Mxx: I agree that MAC filtering won't stop a determined hacker, but for most "script kiddies" (i.e that kid next door, or the 16 year old who thinks he's a "l33t hax0r") it should do the job. In order to bypass MAC filtering, a hacker would have to first break the wifi passord (or obtain it), than capture some ARP…
It takes about 3 seconds to check my email (on my home computer, remain logged into Gmail), even if I were to check it every 5 minutes all day, the time wasted would be pretty minimal.
My backpack has my laptop, a book, and some pens. Oh yeah, and some squashed granola bars. I honestly think most of the people who claim they carry the contents of an Office Depot Store in their backpacks are just trying to sound extra-geeky. Because it's definitely practical to carry around 2 reels of 15-foot…
I just disabled multitasking, I really have no use for it, and I found it annoying at best.
@purplepanther: It's true that some versions of iTunes have been know to accidentally/purposely break jailbreaks, but you can usually find out if a new version of iTunes is JB safe the day after it's release. In the case that iTunes screws up the jailbreak you can always just download the previous version from a…
