Shhhh! You’re supposed to just ignore the Mercedes era, and the Schumacher Ferrari era.
Here in the northeast:
Fair enough. Outside of maybe full-size Ram pickups, you really don’t see may Chrysler products of that era, period. I see an Intrepid on occasion during my travels, and it’s a unicorn.
Counterpoint: we’ve polarized and lost empathy to the point that large portions of America reflexively side with corporate interests. Not because they trust them or have better experiences but because they have the shortsighted attitude of, “Tough shit, my work treats me like garbage too. Stop whining and get a real…
Why not go for a bigger LS motor? Well, as the owner explained to Mr. Regular, a 5.3-liter aluminum LS fits really well in the back.
Looks like a low-poly Ford Flex
Mark me down for one - I have gotten bored of my One-77 and Vulcan.
Sure, Checo will need to continue to suck for that to happen, which I doubt. But how many races now that he hasn’t made Q3?
Lawrence Barretto tweeted that his on-site sources indicated Ricciardo’s fastest lap at the tyre test today would have been fast enough for a front-row qualifying spot on the GP. While the conditions aren’t 1:1, that should still indicate he’s still got it when behind the wheel of a RedBull associated car.
Weird. Normal people don’t want to buy a $50k car with 7% interest rates, tech that’s outdated faster than a modern smartphone, a business model that’s constantly pushing microservices, and tracks all your movements with no way to opt out or find out where that information is going?
I will admit, I drank the kool aid. I didn’t know much about him, but what I did know was 1) making electric vehicles 2) real life Tony Stark. What’s there not to like?
Absolutely. I hate the gatekeeping, wannabe-Ferrari thing Porsche dealers are pulling. I love their cars, but damn, their management and business model is quite off-putting to say the least. I don’t care if my car is more exclusive than someone else’s. I just want A 911. Heck, I want everyone that can afford and…
My primary rationale for an engine swap isn’t to put something unlikely under the hood. My list is HP, easy fitment, a big aftermarket and bullet proof reliability all of which are embodied in the LS.
Frankly it was stupid to buy a FWD car when you think you need AWD (maybe they assumed it was AWD because its an “SUV”), but the reality is also that they probably DON’T need AWD and what they needed was better tires.
I liked the chr but it only got 30mpg highway . I think they should have gave it the camry/rav4 powertrain. Looks to be a more compelling package now that it has more power and fuel economy.
I always liked the C-HR, I thought it’s a different but great platform to play with.
Bingo. Look at how many teams have consecutive wins:
The ZF 8 speed gets you 90% of the way to a DCT in shift quickness and directness while having a much less awkward low speed driving experience.
Pretty much this, ZF has essentially become the defacto transmission in damn near every car out there. There is little reason to bother dumping R&D money in designing a new tranny, unless you a bat shit crazy bald swede, so most just don’t. That and sticks are inferior in every way to a DCT, with the exception of…
