They didn't fix the bearing issue on the 911 until the 997.2, which I believe was either the 2008 or 2009 model year.

While I don't defend the bikers and I seriously don't think that many did. I think most people despise the guy for running them down in the first place. I understand that he felt threatened BUT when I saw the video the first encounter didn't seem that dangerous until he ran over the bikers. at that point you know shit…
