Last call as in V8s, the Hurricane and hybrid was always in the cards with the Dodge Charger/Challenger.

The Hurricane, so far, doesn’t sound so good given the specs of Inline six and twin turbos, it sounds nothing like the BMW and Nissan versions.
How is F1 shooting itself in the foot over this?
MRSP or what you bought it for? Before the Covid market, for decades, you can get $10,000 - $15,000 off MSRP for any full size American truck & SUV.
I think it’s more than that, what are all these US factories and workers doing?
That’s generally how the full size truck market operated for decades, hence their incredible resale value, but great leverage for financing and having high resale after just a couple of years.
So the UAW strike in the US shouldn’t matter then.
Gotcha, that makes sense, looks like you only have one choice.
Funny thing is, out of all the vehicles they brought to the ring, that Land Rover was the only one that made it without breaking down.
Not likely far off, at least the going out of business scenario, considering their operational profit relies heavily on trucks, at least for Ford, GM and Stellantis.
Oh my bad, I should have been more detailed in my comment. I still suggest the Toyota, I drive a RAM Rebel and an old Mercedes in the US, zero issues for the RAM in my 4 years of ownership so far, but it doesn’t live a hard life.
Absolutely agree with that.
My truck is certainly not stripped out, but does our Toyota C-HR count as reasonable?
Yup, the talk currently in F1 rumor mills is Porsche will take over the Audi F1 effort. Just moving name brands around for VAG apparently.
They would go bankrupt if they stopped producing trucks and SUVs, small efficient cars were actually making them a loss.
Forcing large trucks and SUVs? Trucks only make up about 17% of the auto market and few regular folks can afford them.
Gas has spiked for a long time, and it’s over $5 in California and they sell a bunch of trucks and SUVs still. Don’t count on gas prices being a deterent until it hits $7 or more nationally.
Sure, but how many huge HD diesel trucks you think are out there in comparison to the norm. The truck market is like 17% of the total vehicle market, and the HD market is 5% or less than that?
You mean the World right, I think Europe has already at 50/50 sedans vs trucks/SUVs as of this year and growing fast.
Why would it be a joke on me? You can’t get a Toyota is more likely pertinent than the fact it’s a minivan.
